NOTE I DO NOT APOLOGIZE FOR THE PUN!!!

I began running downstairs once the knocks started, throwing my sketch book on the couch and finishing putting my hair up in a bun. I swung opened the door to see a young woman with brown hair and blue eyes. From the looks of her, this would be an easy appointment. But looks, are always deceiving. She smiled kindly as Diego walked over and she let out a violent sneeze.
"I'm allergic to dogs," She explains.
"Oh one moment Miss, please make yourself at home, I'll be right back. C'mon boy!" I say and lead him outside and quickly next door to Aaron's place. I knock violently to get a response but no answer, except from a certain masked man.
"What are you doing?" Zane asks as I turn around.
"Zane I have a huge favor to ask! Aaron isn't home and I have someone at my place who is allergic to dogs! Please, please, please! Can you watch him for a couple hours?" I beg. I've heard Zane isn't the nicest person around, but, I also know how much he loves ponies so... I guess that could work as a back up.
"No," He begins to walk away as Diego snags his sleeve and pulls him back, "Get off of me!"
"Diego!" I whistle and he comes back to my side, "Zane, look, I know we aren't friends, we aren't even close to it, but, please, I'm begging you right now."
"Ugh! Fine!" He scoffs, "Let's go you Mutt."
"His names Diego, he's very well trained, I owe you big time, I've gotta go, thank you, bye!" I give him a second long hug and run off. Mentally, until I reached the door, I didn't even realized I hugged Zane. Oh well, can't be that big of a deal. "I am so sorry about that Mrs. Garnet. Now let's talk about the dress and this wedding."
"Yes, I hope you don't mind I was looking through this sketch book of yours and it's simply wonderful!" She says. I smile and join her on the couch. "Is first design is stunning and I absolutely love it." She flipped to the front and showed me a drawing of a dress from the back side with a tight top that extended to thick straps composed of see through lace. Then the lace trailed down the torso and down the back only. The sides had no lace but the bottom was filled with it. There was an overlay over the light pink fabric of yet a calm see through lace. "Could I have this design be my dress?" I shake my head sadly.
"I-I-I'm sorry... But that design is not for sale. I can sketch a dress close to it, but I cannot make a dress in that design for you," I tell her and take my sketch book back. Middle school, Carson would've loved to see that one...
"Then, how about the one in the back?" She asks again. I flip to the back page and stare at the dress there for a moment. Laced and beaded straps with no fabric until the top. Then it's laced heavily with he same design of lace and beadings along the torso. The beads fade along the waist and the lace begins to get fewer in style. Leaving the bottom blank except for a see through fabric that covers the pink fabric underneath.
"That one I can do, and as apologizes for the first dress I can customize it if you'd like more or less lace and the same with the beading. She nods and I stand her up to get the measurements for he dress and everything in between, telling her it'd be about a month and a half before I could get it to her. She said that was fine.
"How much will this be?" She asks.
"It depends on the customization. Pay me when you come to get it but we're looking at roughly 1,200 dollars," I say and wave her off. Okay, that was actually very easy, but... That drawing. Carson would've... I just... I guess promises are always, just words...

"Hurry up!" Carson screams as he runs up to his room. I follow behind him after greeting his Mom and stare around at the posters he has that belong to the Guardian Forces. Something in my body shakes as I'm looking at each of them. "When I grow up, I wanna join them! Be just like Toby and slay the ultimate beast!"
"Ya know in that story, the beast slays him?" I say with a smirk, "And they aren't real anyways."
"How do you know?" He protests.
"Have you ever met an one?" I ask and sit down on his bed with him.
"Have you?" He sits up and slides an arm around my shoulders and smiles to me.
"N-No," I stutter and he just chuckles and keeps on like I didn't say anything. "When we grow up, when we're together... I'll find that beast, for you."
"You don't have to. Knowing you're behind me... When I don't know anything, that's enough," I say and pull out my sketch book. He smiles to me and I smile back.
"When we're together, I want you to wear that first dress you made, the one that had me and you meet," Carson tightens his arm around me and I rest my head on his shoulder and look up to all of his posters.
"What would you do if, I, was that beast?" I thought.

I find myself being shaken awake and a voice calling my name, "Kya! Kya!" It repeats. I can feel two cold hands on my shoulders, shaking my body. The voice says something else that I can't hear, then it comes to me again, another voice calling my name. Another voice yelling. Then I feel something, on my face, something wet. My body's shaking again as I hear Carson's voice. It's screaming at me, calling me a monster. Everything hurts now. Then I hear one voice. My voice. I hear one word. A scary word that I never wanted to repeat, after everything that had happened.
"CARSON!!!" I shout as my body comes awake. I stare around and see only distant memories in my living room. Then I look outside. When Mrs. Garnet left, it was 3 in the afternoon. Now, looking out the window. It's well past midnight. I get up and look around me. Everything's there. Diego must still be at Zane's. I let out a sigh and drag myself upstairs. Might as well do some reading. On my... "Other sides". Without Mom here, at least she has a journal on them. Makes this a lot easier for me. Still, being an Ultima Dominant is so stressful. Especially when you don't even wanna be a werewolf.
