Getting Settled 'Inn'

   It was after all of the shopping was done for Abel and (Y/n) that they finally got settled in ((._.)) their room at the local inn.

*Later that night*
(Abels Pov)

   "Alright kiddo, time for a bath!" I exclaimed while I picked (Y/n) up and carried her into the bathroom. "Go ahead and get undressed while I get the bath ready." I added while I ran some warmish water and filled the tub, also mixing in some soap to make it all bubbly. I twisted the faucet to turn the water off and turned towards (Y/n) who was now bare naked. I picked them up and gently placed them in the tub of bubbly water. She giggled in delight as she played with the bubbles.
   I washed her hair with both shampoo and conditioner. I washed her legs, arms, and chest. But I froze when I got to her back. My expression was filled with mixed emotions of worry, sadness, and anger as I gazed appon bright red and scabbed up nubs protruting from her back. I grazed over them slightly with the wash cloth in my hand. The very noticeably winced in pain and slid over the the other side of the tub. "Ow!!" She whined. "S-Sorry... it's ok, just let me see.." I asked with a soft voice, she hesitantly scooted back and turned around for me. I took another good look at them. The first graze of the wash cloth made it more clear to see that they were "..w...wings..."I mumbled. I looked at them from the side, they were slightly uneven. It wasn't a clean cut..someone tore these off. "..you poor, poor girl... That must've hurt something fierce huh?" I asked. (Y/n) turned her head a bit and nodded. "What I'm about to do isn't going to feel good, but I need you to stay still for me okay? I need to get these clean before they're infected.". I rolled up my sleeves and wrapped one arm around her to hold her still and used the other arm to clean the torn wings in her back. She squirmed and cried. I hated it but it had to be done. I finished after a good minute. It looked like the life had been sucked out of her. I loosened my grip and dropped the cloth into the water and hugged her gently. ".. I'm sorry sweetheart.." I whispered into her ear. I released her and washed the rest of her body and drained the tub as she got out and onto a towel on the floor.
 
   I took a separate towel and dried her off and put some new PJs the Boris has bought on her. I sent her to bed and I stayed in the bathroom to take own shower. I couldn't shake the thought of her poor.wings out of my head. The poor thing..
   After my shower I put on a tank top and some shorts to sleep in and cleaned up the bathroom. I walked out of the bathroom to find (Y/n) asleep in the only bed in the room. I ignored it and got in bed beside her and fell asleep with an arm around her as I held her close.

I will never let anything like that happen to you again..I promise..
