((Daz my art on the top, I used a really basic base and did all of that fabulous details))
(No one's Pov)
There was a huge house warming party thrown that day, some of the neighbors were invited along with Boris and Bendy of course. Most of the people who had shown up had brought gifts, such as soaps, candles, food, etc. Anything to help make the new house a home. A comfortable one at that.
Later that night after everyone had left. Boris and Bendy were saying their goodbyes.
"Thanks you two, so much. I have literally no idea how to return this humongous deed." Abel stated with a relieved chuckle. "Please, please. No need to thank us! It's just what we do here." Boris reassured. "All we ask is that you take care of yourself, and your daughter. She hasn't been really talkative these past few months, is anything wrong?" the demon added. Abel glanced over at (Y/n) who was sitting in front of the fireplace, just sitting there.... just blanky staring at the fire... 'Hmm' I thought to myself.
"For the last time, he isn't my daughter, you know this." Abel huffed. "Due to her past, she hasn't really been taught how to speak properly. (Y/n) can make out words pretty well, she just doesn't know how to place them together yet. I'll be sure to help her with that as much as I can. Other than that, I'll personally see to myself what else is going on in that little head of hers." He finished. The other two simply nodded at Abel's response.
And with that, the wolf and the demon left the newly built household. This gave Abel the opportunity to have a word with the small child. He locked the front door for the night and went over to the fireplace and sat down on his rump, cross-legged. "Hey there sweat pea. How are you holding up?" The angel asked with a soft voice. (Y/n) glanced up at him, and focused her sights back on the fire. "Feeling weird..uhm..." She stopped, not knowing what to say. "'Feeling weird'? How so?" He questioned. "New people, so nice.... No reason to be nice.. Why?" She replied, confused. Once Abel had put the pieces together, he figured out what the child had said. "Well, little one, some people have the instinct to help out others who are in need of assistance. In our case, most of this town is. There really isn't a clear, logical reason behind it." He paused for a moment before opening up his mouth once more. "In this day and age, humans and toons don't really go together. Because of the humans hateful ways against us toons, we feel as if we need to group up and stand up for ourselves. So the people of this here town somewhat understand what you and I have gone through l, and are willing to give us mercy and fellowship in this dark time." He added.
(Y/n) yawns, Abel chuckles after he realized that he was talking too much. He picks the small child up and bring her to her room, placing her in the comfortable, twin sized bed and tucking her in. "Sweet dreams (nickname).." She had already fallen asleep by the time he said it, but decided it had to be said anyhow. With that, Abel left her room, leaving the door cracked open a small bit, and went to his room to collapse in to a deep slumber.
