Chapter 1: The Whispers

AJ Lee's POV
I was walking around, searching for Punk.

I see people whispering, but they stop once they see me.

Why? What are they talking about?

I shake those thoughts out of my head once I see Punk.

I quickly run up to him.

CM Punk's POV
I was walking to my locker room, until I heard someone yell my name.

I turn to see AJ.

Of course, I should've known by the voice.

I get snapped out of my thoughts from AJ yelling.

"Punk, are you even listening to me?!"

"Huh? Yeah, sorry I was just thinking." I said.

"Thinking about what?" She asked me.

"Nothing." I said.

"Don't worry, it isn't anything embarrassing... is it?" She asked.

"No, no, of course not." I said.

"Um..." AJ said, but stopped to think. "Punk," She said.

"Yeah?" I asked.

"Do you know why people are whispering but stop when we come around?"

"No, but I think it has something to do with us." I said.

"I know that, but we don't know what they're talking about." She said.

"AJ, it doesn't matter what they say, the divas are probably jealous of you, and the wrestlers are jealous of me." I said.

I see a blush spread across her cheeks.

She's probably blushing because I said the divas are jealous of her. Who knows?

I lift her chin up...
