Chapter 10: Are you sure?

Punk's POV
I was in my car, going to my house, all I could think about was that kiss, I know it wasn't anything special but it was special to me, I know it was just on the cheek and nothing more but it felt like something more.... I don't know why, the next thing I knew I was at my house, I opened my car door and then closed it and locked it.

I went in my house and made sure to lock the door, soon as I was in my bedroom, I checked myself in the mirror and smiled this is going to be a great day, I can feel it!

AJ'S POV
I was driving to Kaitlyn's house, but all I could think about was that kiss..

Was it extra? Did Punk like it?

Those questions kept on repeating in my head, But mostly the question of did Punk like it because I'm not going to lie, I kinda liked how it felt.. maybe Punk's going to take me out to a fancy restaurant and ask me out.. wait..

"No AJ, don't get to full of yourself, it's just dinner, nothing more." I thought out loud, as soon as I said that, I arrived at Kaitlyn's house.

I went out of my car then locked it, I went to Kaitlyn's door and knocked, I could hear Kaitlyn say, "Coming!" She opened the door and smiled at me.

"AJ! It's so good to see you!" Kaitlyn said.

She then hugged me, then she let go.

"Oh.. Yeah.. Um, come in!" Kaitlyn said.

I smiled and went past her. I went inside her house, Yep, same old house, well it's not really old but still.

"So.. not to be rude but why are you here AJ?" Kaitlyn asked.

"Oh.. you know, I came here to see how you're doing, and I also came here to say hi.. so... Hi Kaitlyn!" I said.

"Oh.. ok so did anything happen that I need to know?" Kaitlyn asked.

"Hmm... actually yeah, I'm gonna tell you something that just happened like 20 minutes ago or so." I said.

"Ok.. What is it?" Kaitlyn asked.

Kaitlyn's POV
"Ok.. What is it?" I asked.

"Well, Punk asked me out to dinner!" AJ said.

"Ok.. What did you do, did you say yes?" I asked.

"Yeah, I did say yes.. Why?" She said.

"Oh, no reason." I said, holding in my laughter.

"What?" AJ said confused.

"AJ, don't you get it? Punk likes you, that's why he asked you out to dinner!" I said excitedly.

"What!? No, no, he just asked a friend out to dinner, that's all!" AJ said while blushing.

"Don't worry, I can tell you like him too!" I said while laughing.

AJ was silent for a few seconds, she was about to speak but I cut her off.

"Is there anything you didn't tell me that happened?" I asked curiously.

"Yeah.. Um.. I k-kissed Punk on the cheek." AJ said while blushing... Again.

"AHHH!" I screamed excitedly.

"I knew you guys liked each other!" I said.

AJ'S POV
"I knew you guys liked each other!" Kaitlyn practically screamed it in my ear.

"No, Kaitlyn, we're just friends, nothing more!" I said embarrassed.

"And besides, how can you prove me and Punk like each other?" I said curiously.

"AJ, it's pretty obvious you two like each other!" Kaitlyn said.

"How?" I said.

"Really, AJ?" Kaitlyn said.

"Yes, really, now tell me how it's obvious that we like each other!" I said, wondering if Punk actually liked me or not.

"Well for starters, you and Punk have a lot in common-" Kaitlyn said but I cut her off.

"Kaitlyn, a lot of people have a lot in common, that doesn't mean they like each other!" I said.

"I know, but you didn't let me finish!" Kaitlyn said.

"Oh.. sorry, carry on." I said.

"As I was saying, you two have a lot in common, and I see the way you two look at each other, it's clear that you're in love with him!" Kaitlyn said.

I stayed silent for a few seconds as I was about to speak Kaitlyn interrupted me.

"And you don't really kiss guys that you know on the cheek, not even your family!" Kaitlyn said.

Well she was right about that. I don't really kiss people on the cheek and whenever I do, I regret it.

But when I kiss Punk on the cheek, it just feels so right and I never regret it, I don't know why.

"And I support you guys, also you guys would make a cute couple!" Kaitlyn said.

I blushed from that.

"Kaitlyn..." I said softly.

"What?" She asked.

"Are you sure Punk likes me? I mean what if you're wrong, and I try to kiss him, and he says he never want to see me nor call or text me again!" I said.

By the time I was done saying all that, I was out of breath.

"AJ, you're over exaggerating, I'm pretty sure Punk likes you because when ever I mention you in front of Punk, he blushes, and he doesn't blush much, so that's how I know he likes you!" Kaitlyn said.

"Ok.. if you say so, then I'll try to do something, but not tonight, when I'm ready I'll make a move." I said.

"Well ok, bye AJ." Kaitlyn said while hugging me.

"Bye Kaitlyn!" I said while hugging back, after she let go of the hug, I unlocked her door and closed it and went to my car and unlocked it and went home.

Yep, this is going to be an exciting day.
