Chapter 34

AJ'S POV
"Alright then, am I attractive or not? And keep in mind AJ, I know when you lie." He said.

"I-I"

"Maybe." I finally said.

"Well, you're not lying but that's not a clear answer either." He said.

"Quit turning me on." I muttered, only loud enough for Punk to hear and no one else.

"Nah, it's cute seeing you all flustered." He said with a knowing smirk.

My cheeks flushed slightly and he smiled at that.

"You see? Like that." He said then pointed at my red face.

"Besides I can't control that, AJ." He added.

"Yeah, but-" I said but was interrupted by a loud banging sound.

My eyes instantly went to where the source of the noise came from and it was from outside the locker room, but I couldn't see what it was or what happened since the door was closed.

Wait, what if they heard what I said about Punk- oh gosh, I really hope they didn't.

My eyes slightly widened with fear at the thought of someone overhearing Punk's and I's conversation.

Usually I wouldn't care or mind because Punk and I just goof around but now it's serious because I was fucking talking about him turning me on for goodness sake.

Punk glanced at me and seemed to notice my uneasiness because his arms opened up.

"Come here for the best hug in the world." He said, grinning.

Not only was he right about that but he was also referencing his gimmick, which I loved.

I went into his arms and once he embraced me, I smiled slightly hoping he wouldn't see it or know it because it'd surely boost his cockiness.

3rd person's POV

But little did AJ know that Punk didn't see it, but he could sure as hell feel it, he felt her smile in the crook of his neck, and he loved it, instead of this boosting his cockiness, it boosted his crush on AJ.

AJ'S POV

I stayed in his arms for a bit, loving every second of it, but like all good things it had to end at one point or another, and it ended by another loud banging noise, but this time it was louder.

He let go of me and went to the door, putting his hand on the door knob, but before he could open the door and leave, he stopped and then turned his head slightly to look at me.

"AJ, stay here." He said.

"But-" I said, but he cut me off.

"I said to stay here, AJ, and I mean it, I don't want you to get into any harms way." He said.

I smiled slightly but it vanished as soon as it came, because even though I find Punk adorable right now he might need some help.

"I will for now, but if you need me I'll help." I said.

He nodded, and without another word he opened the door, only to get pushed back inside the room and falling with two other people falling with him.
