Denese POV
I woke up the next day and I checked my phone. It was 9:30 in the morning. I didn't remember falling asleep last night. Maybe I was half asleep when they were taking us home. What I did remember was sitting between Leon and Malik while watching TV when their others friends left. I probably fell asleep then.
Seconds later, I noticed that I wasn't home, I was still at the boys' house! This can't be real! I thought. I wondered why Priscilla didn't ask one of them to take us home. It's probably because we were all tired so she just let it slide. I felt really guilty. Just the thought of sleeping at a boy's house, let alone 5, haunted me. I knew it was fine because we didn't do anything wrong, but deep down, I felt really uncomfortable.
Whoever I was laying on shifted a little but I hoped he wouldn't wake up, so I sat up very carefully. I was hoping I was laying on Leon and not Malik so he wouldn't get the wrong idea or get jealous. The good news was I technically was laying on Leon, but it was only my bottom half. I was resting my head in Malik's lap the whole night! That made me feel even worse! I wasn't really bothered about laying on his lap and I knew he wouldn't be bothered either because we know how we feel about it each other. It was Leon who I was worried about. I didn't want to give him any reasons to have suspicions.
I mean, I love Malik. He can't take the place of Leon, though. He's my brother and that's it, nothing more, nothing less. Malik is the one person who actually looks out for me like a little sister. I'm not saying the others don't, I just think they're a little more focused on trying to win Priscilla's heart.
Actually, Priscilla and I have been hanging out with them almost everyday now. Tre, T, and Chris are always busy drooling over her and I think she's starting to enjoy all the attention. Malik and I just laugh at their lame attempts to try to win her over because it's kind of clear that she wants Chris. We even have our own inside jokes. I would tell you them, but then they wouldn't be inside jokes anymore.
But on an unrelated note, I noticed that Leon's been a little clingy lately. I don't have any problem with that because he's my boyfriend and all, but it seems like he's doing it to prove something to somebody. Maybe he made a weird bet with the boys or something.
That's even more of a reason why I don't want him to overreact, so I stood up quietly and went to the bathroom. When I was done, I tried to tiptoe back to the couch and sit back down. As soon as my butt hit the couch, Leon and Malik started to wake up. Oh Shoot, I thought. I hoped they didn't noticed that I was a little tense.
"Good morning, babe," Leon said. His voice was so cute when he was half asleep! It was kind of raspy and deep. It kind of shook me a little because he never sounded like that before.
"Good morning!" I said back.
"How did you sleep?" he asked.
"Uh-huh, I slept pretty good. Well would you look at the time! We gotta go!" I was talking really fast. I tapped Priscilla to wake her up and said we need to leave.
"What's the rush, anyway?" she managed to get out between yawns, "We can't go anywhere without one of the boys driving."
"Uh yes, we can! You drove the car here, remember?"
"Yeah, but during the cookout, I took it back to the house and Chris brought me back over here."
"Wait! So you planned this all out?"
"Yeah just calm down. I brought your toothbrush and all of your face care things."
I calmed down a little, "But what about showering?"
