Your POV
The Losers and I were hanging out at the fair together. We had defeated IT and everything was running smoothly, as it should be. Bev came to visit her boyfriend, Bill, and I got some time with my boyfriend, Richie.
We were all on a picnic blanket, talking, laughing. It was a warm summers day, and we all had ice cream in our hands. I sat myself on the blanket, until Richie clicked his tongue.
"Come here, princess. Come sit on my lap." I scooted onto his lap and Rich wrapped his arms around my waist. I lied my head back on his shoulder and he pecked my lips. I giggled and smiled into the kiss.
We go back to the conversation we were having with the group. The boys all planned on staying at Bill's, for It's one of his last nights in Derry before he moves. I was gonna sleep over with Bev at my place.
I always enjoyed the company of this group, like we all got ourselves up at 8, we met at Bill's and rode down to the Quarry. We played there for a few hours and then got dressed to come up to the fair and eat lunch. To think, last year we were worried about being brutally murdered by a killer clown.
Now we're all sitting here enjoying ourselves. Man, the time really did change. It's like the whole town seems to be happier now that IT is gone, for a while, at least.
I look over to see Bill feeding Bev some of his ice cream. That was super cute, and of course, it made me smile. I look away and next thing I know Richie is shoving his ice cream in my face.
"Richie." I groan, swatting it away. "Enough, asshole." I giggle and push away his sweet treat. It's so funny when we curse at each other, the rest of the Losers think that something went wrong, but it's just us teasing each other and messing around with each other.
I guess that's what makes us perfect for each other.
Bill kept doing romantic gestures to Bev, and each time, Richie also, well, attempted to, try those romantic gestures on me. Most people know Rich is not the most romantic person out there.
When he does try, it's the sweetest thing. But now, it's kind of getting on my nerves, in a cute way.
"Rich, are you done?" I tease, raising an eyebrow at him as he twirls a strand of my hair through some of his fingers. He looks up at me, peering at me through those adorable glasses, and just shrugs, continuing to mess with my hair.
I take his hand in mine and rub my thumb over his hand. He's actually the biggest sweetheart around me, believe it or not.
Both Bill and Bev keep on flirting with each other while the rest are in deep conversations. Stan is talking about leaving Derry to take his Jewish stuff elsewhere, where he'll belong. Mike wants to open up a Black safe-spot, in case it's needed in the future.
Eddie is talking about the importance of AIDS and Ben is researching more stuff in his room. I lean my head onto Richie's shoulder. Rich kisses the top of my forehead and I smile, burying my face into the crook of his neck.
We hear the coos of the Losers as they see us. "Shut up, virgins." Richie snarks. Everyone laughs at the classy trash mouth comment, except Beverly and Bill, who are too focused on each other.
"We could probably leave and they wouldn't notice." Eddie snorts, watching them gaze into each other's eyes lovingly.
"They will probably be having sex, forgetting we're here." Stan leans against the park bench. Eddie shivers at the thought which makes everyone snicker.
"Ok, STD's are a SERIOUS problem right now! My mom's friend, you know, he met someone. Yeah, and she had bad STD's." I block Eddie out as he keeps ranting on about how dangerous sex can be.
"Are you done?" Richie complains. "I know for a fact Y/n does not have STD's." Richie winks and I wack him upside the head. "Ouch!"
"You're disgusting." I scowl at my boyfriend.
"Disgusting in bed?" I roll my eyes but can't help but let out a stifle of a laugh.
"Shut your mouth." And he does, Richie knows when I'm not really into the whole thing.
I turn my attention back to Bill and Bev, who are still all over each other. "Babe, if I was a farmer, I would put our tulips together." Bill tells her dreamily.
"Awww, babe." Beverly coos, holding Bill's hands in hers.
Richie clearly forgot I told him to shut his mouth. Because the next thing he says made mot say anything, just have the most disappointed look on my face.
"Hey, Y/n, if I were a farmer, you would be my hoe." Richie laughs. Everyone goes quiet, trying not to laugh, including me. But we all held the most disappointed looks on our face
"Richie I swear to god."
