TRISTAN
"I don't know, y'all. Maybe I was trippin'," I said as I covered my face with my hands. It was Sunday, less than 24 hours since I had yelled at Leilani and her friends. The kids were with my grandparents for the day and I was left in my apartment with my friends feeling like pure trash.
"Maybe you were trippin'? Hell nah," Nick said. I took my hands from my face to see him shaking his head aggressively. "Hell nah. Man, you had every right. You're way better than me. I would've not only yelled at her stupid ass, but I would f-ck one her stupid friends behind her back since she wants to be a stupid b-tch. No offense to your girl. I didn't mean to call her stupid, but she's stupid."
"I don't know what the hell she was thinking, man," I groaned as I leaned back against the couch.
"She was drunk," Zayn chimed in from the kitchen. He had made himself at home and was eating Marvel's fruit snacks. She was going to beat his ass when she saw him. His funeral. "She had no idea what she was doing. I understand that you're upset, but at the same time, it's like...she was drunk. They didn't have sex and the Romeo guy had enough respect to not take advantage of her and bring her back home. So, what's the problem?"
"If it was just that I wouldn't be so upset. If the pictures and the videos at the club was the only thing released, I would've been mad but not too upset. But the fact that there's video of them flirting while sober and she's doing intimate photoshoots with him behind my back just rubs me the wrong way. It's too much added on top of each other and I just flipped," I tried to explain myself further.
"Man, you shouldn't have yelled at her," Zayn said as he shook his head disappointedly. "That girl loves you. You know that. She wasn't flirting with him. They were talking. They are friends. And the photoshoot thing is just business."
"Okay, so put yourself in my shoes," I said as I sat up and pointed my hand towards Zayn. "You barely see your girl for a couple of weeks then some video surfaces of her with this attractive ass guy that every woman in the world wants to f-ck. She's aggressively bouncing her ass against his d-ck in the club, then there's a video with her hand on his chest as she looks at him seductively. Then there's video of them earlier talking or flirting or what the f-ck ever at a photoshoot where they did intimate poses in their underwear. I want to hear from all of you what you would do or how you would react. Zayn first since he sides with Leilani."
Zayn smacked his lips and crossed his arms as he leaned against the kitchen counter. "Man, I never said I was on her side. You're over there upset with the fact you yelled at her too. I'm just agreeing with you that it's not right. If Leilani was my girl and I was in your shoes, I would sit her down and let her know she needs to tell me about these things beforehand. When it comes to dancing on Romeo, I genuinely don't care. People dance. It means nothing."
"Man, listen to this gentle ass n-gga over there," Nick said through laughter. "You gotta be kidding me. You wouldn't even raise your voice a little?"
"Not a little especially if it's something that neither of us ever talked about. I doubt Tristan ever told Lani that she couldn't dance with people on the dancefloor. So, how could she know that would piss Tristan off?"
"If you're in a relationship with someone sh-t like that should be assumed. How would Lani feel if a girl danced on you like that, Cash," Nick asked me.
"Man, she would lose it," I replied.
"Exactly! She knew that sh-t was wrong," Nick yelled. "If I was in your shoes, Cash, my n-gga, I would f-ck another b-tch. Since she wanna be dumb and play like she don't know basic relationship rules, f-ck another b-tch."
