Last day of the trip...

| Vivian POV |
I woke up the next morning to see everyone still asleep. What time is it? I looked a the clock and it was only 5:30am. I groaned and sighed. Whatever. I went to the bathroom as quietly as I could without waking the other girls up. I showered and changed into a knee length blue dress. It's a long sleeve. I wore a silver belt over. I walked out of the room and went downstairs. I saw Thomas awake sitting beside Elly. She was still asleep. He was wearing a sleeveless grey hoodie with a long pair of skinny jeans. It showed off his muscles. I blushed crimson red. "Morning Tom. Couldn't sleep?" He turned around and nodded his head. "Yeah," he said in his deep voice.

Oh my gods. I felt blush creep up my cheeks. I like how his hair is always untamed and never in a same position for long. His ever changing eyes. The ones I liked most were his sea green ones. His original eye colour. "Yeah, me too," I told him and sat beside him. I moved Elly's hair from her face and saw her smile. She's adorable. "Come on, I want to show you something," he pulled me up and we walked out of the cabin. He brought us up to the rooftop of it. There was a ladder at the back. He climbed up first then I followed him suit. We sat on the rooftop and watched the still dark sky. I sighed. It was beautiful. We were sitting relatively close to each other. I'm not complaining. He was a half a head taller than I am. I admired his features before quickly looking away.

"Why can't you sleep?" I asked him. He pulled his knees together and left his head on top of his knees. "I had a nightmare I suppose," he said and looked at the horizon. "Can I ask what's it about?" I asked him cautiously. He gave me his famous lopsided smile and I blushed. Thank goodness it's night time. "Well, its about my past. I don't talk much about it because well, it isn't exactly the best," he said having a long look in his eyes. "My friends and family from earth weren't exactly the best. Well, to start it off, my name isn't exactly Thomas. But I didn't tell anybody except of Chaos. Gaia, Nyx and Tartarus knows too. Lets start from the beginning," he said and told me everything. Without leaving out any single detail. From how he defeated Mrs Dodds, his pre-algebra teacher to his arrival to Zacron. I didn't know when but I was holding his hand. "I'm sorry," I told him truthfully. He gave me a sad smile and I laid my head on his shoulder.

I just realised how tense he was until I left my head on his shoulder. "I hate them but at the same time I want to forgive them," he told me. I looked at him and saw that he was crying. "I'm so pathetic," he laughed at himself as he tried to wipe the tears away. I pulled his hands away. "It's okay to cry Tom. You cry because you've been strong for too long. You can't build it all up inside and not let it out. It would just destroy you. You need to learn that not everything is possible for you to solve on your own. You need your friends and family. You have us. And we're not going to leave you ever," I told him as I wiped his tears away from his eyes. He nodded his head as he laid his head on my shoulder. I could feel his tears sip through my dress.

I patted his back and let it all out as he sobbed. I've never seen him so lost and alone before. He doesn't look like the strong, confident leader we all saw. He's just like everybody else. Scared, alone and tired of being betrayed over again. After a while, he stopped and sighed. He pulled away and smiled at me. A genuine one. "Thanks Vi. I needed that," he told me. I smiled at him. I caress his cheek unconsciously. He looked at me and I looked at him. Clear blue met sea green. We both pulled away after realising what we were doing. "Look," He said and pointed to the horizon.

I gasped as we stared. It was beautiful. Dawn broke as we sat on the roof. It made everything look like it was on fire. "Tom, it looks beautiful," I told him. He smiled at me as we sat there. Just then we heard someone coming up onto the roof. We turned and saw Elly rubbing her eyes tiredly. "Daddy, where'd you go?" She said and walked towards us. She plopped down in between us as she laid on his arm. "Well Vivian and I were looking at the sun rising," he told her. She nodded her head now awake. She looked at him then looked at me. She smiled and got up to my ears. "My daddy likes you. Shh. Don't tell him I said that. He doesn't want to admit it so you cannot tell him," she whispered in my ear and I blushed.

Thomas likes me?

I nodded my head and she smiled at me and hugged me. Thomas looked at me with his eyebrows raised. I shrugged my shoulders and let her sit on my lap. "Come on, let's get back in the house before they think we were kidnaped," Tom said and he jumped down the roof and landed on his feet perfectly without a noise. I rolled my eyes as he bowed towards us.

I climbed back down while Elly waited up there. I must have missed a step or something because I fell off the ladder. I freaked and closed my eyes but instead felt two strong arms hold onto me. My breath was uneven. Oh my gods. I though I was about to fall. "Hey, it's alright, you're safe," I buried my head into his chest. Thomas calmed me down and I did. I looked back up at him and muttered, "Thank you," he chuckled and let go of me. I immediately missed his warmth. I smiled at him in return. "Dad! Can you carry me down too?" We turned our heads to Elly who was giving us the baby seal eyes.

"Little rascal," he said and she opened her arms as he carried her down. She giggled and I laughed. We walked together back into the house.

Thomas POV
We walked back to the cabin to see everyone just awake. "Where have the two of you been?" Andrew asked tiredly. I looked at Vivian and she looked back. We shrugged. "We went to see the sun come up!" Elly exclaimed and everyone's mood brightened up. "Okay everyone, we have to get back," I told them and there was a lot of whining. I chuckled at them. "Come on, up you lazy buns," I told them as some of them went back to sleep.

"If your not going to wake up, your going to have to take care of a hyperactive 10 year old Elly," I told them all. They immediately woke up and ran back to their rooms. I laughed and Elly pouted. Vivian shook her head with a smile on her face. "I'm not that troublesome," the little girl said. I gave her the 'really' look. She rolled her eyes and said, "Fine," she stormed back to the living room to pack up.

"You should start packing too Vi," I told her. She nodded her head and left. I watch as she walked back to her room. Her hips swaying from side to side. "You like her don't you dad?" I turned to look at Elly. How did she know? I walked towards her and sat beside her. "Who told you that?" I asked her curiously. She gave me her thoughtful look and explained. "You always look at her as if she's the prettiest person in the world when it's suppose to be me," she said and pouted. I laughed at her.

"Whenever she's not looking, you would stare at her a tiny bit longer. Nobody seems to notice," she said and smiled at me. I pulled her into my lap. "Your a smart little girl aren't you?" I told her. She giggled and tackled me. "Your on," I smirked at her. We had a tickling war. It was fun. "If you two are ready, we would like to go home please," we stopped laughing and turned to look at Pete. I rolled my eyes and snapped my fingers. Well this marks the end of our vacation.

"Okay Okay. Let's go home," I told everyone and they smiled. Elly grabbed onto my hand and I smiled at her. We vanished into thin air.
