chenle comforted me when we clearly heard what was jeno and someone conversing on the other side of the door.
I clenched my fist while I continue to sob.
he can't take jeno away from us!
I can't let him take my best friend away from me!!
gritting my teeth, I mumbled, "that lonely bij"
but the door doesn't want to open for no reason. (because jeno was unconsciously leaning on the otherside)
jaehyun hyung gave up twisting the doorknob again and again and decided to kick it instead until he broke it.
he slammed his own body against the door, knocking both of them down.
I watched the scene unfolds before me with wide eyes.
chenle helped jaehyun hyung dusting his pants. I passed them by and roamed around to find where jeno at.
I ran towards the closet but when I was about to open it, a letter lying down below it caught my attention.
I bent down, picking the piece of paper up, crumbling it immediately after reading what's on it and ran upstairs with chenle and jaehyun hyung trying to catch up with me.
it says,
I'm sorry jaemin, he's not here.
I'm sorry for doing this but taking
him away is the only way I can save
him. he can't survive falling in that
high place.
I searched every corridor that can lead to the second floor's balcony.
I hope I can still see him.
I hope I can still save him.

I stopped when I saw him standing on the railings of the third balcony i've seen.
it wasn't jeno.
"hyuck come down here!" I ran towards him and tugged on his arm.
I regretted looking down when I saw how great the fall is. blame this enormous mansion with high ceilings, sure a fall from this height won't let you survive even though it has a swimming pool below.
donghyuck frowned as he faced me.
"im waiting for you to come... why are you late?" he gestured me to stand next to him so I did.
I was about to reply when chenle, jungwoo and jaehyun hyung arrived, hands on their knees while panting.
"ya! get down from there!" jungwoo said.
"do you want to die?" jaehyun asked next.
"you're supposed to ask donghyuck too!" I said.
"donghyuck? jaemin are you...wait... get down from there!" jaehyun suddenly shouted. he was about to make a step but he cant move his feet as if they were glued on the floor.
chenle was just looking at him.
what's with donghyuck?
I looked at the arm I was tugging to and to the owner who was looking down at the pool below.
he sighed saying, "he caught me"
"who-" and then, he pushed me.
"aAaAAAaaaaAh" I screamed as I was keep falling.
before i closed my eyes preparing for the impact, I saw four people looking down on me from the railings.
one was frowning.
one was crying out my name.
one was pulling his hair out.
one was smirking.
who is who?
and then, the cold water engulfed my thin body. I struggled under after hitting my head on the flooring but then managed to swim out.
I didn't expect to survive that... I almost drown...
I cough the water out of me.
my hands are on my knees while i catch my breath, water was dripping from the strands of my hair as I looked up and was surprised to see jeno, tearing up.
"je-jeno?"
"he showed me everything" hiccup "j-jisung took donghyuck away from us" hiccup "doyoung took winwin hyung too" hiccup "and now r-renjun..."
his eyes were puffy saying, "and now he took you away from us" and then turned his head on the pool.
I widened my eyes and mouthed the word 'no' when there's no voice came out as I followed where he was looking.
I fell down on my knees, covering my mouth from shock.
"it wasn't supposed to be like this nana, if you only listen your other friends could've made it" I heard a familiar disappointed voice whispered on my ears.
it didn't gave me time to even react or defend myself when it pulled into the darkness with him with jeno still mourning on my dead cold body floating on the pool.
