he was just watching the scene unfolds before him. no courage and strength to help the poor boy who's near to falling on his death.
he frowns while looking down on his own hands until a voice snapped hin back to reality, "jisung"
it was a brown haired lad starring at him with wide eyes who he remembers as one of them. the lad seems to be confused and shock trying to process what was happening to him.
he looked over chenle who avoided his gaze that caused jisung to 'tch' and leave the place.
"hold on" mark said with his last strength to pull the younger.
the brown haired guy then stepped back and was unknowingly brought to a very gloomy room. suddenly a light flickered above a chair.
a chair where sicheng was chained. then another light flickered open above a bed and saw jungwoo sleeping soundly.
is he really just sleeping soundly?
without even giving him time to react, water started dripping from nowhere before he realized it was actually coming from him.
"no", that's when it hit him, he died, isn't he?
he gulped down saying, "hyuck, jungwoo and sicheng hyung are we...
dead?"
"what should we do?" a familiar muffled voice was heard coming from the unknown.
his attention was diverted from the voice to sicheng and jungwoo being swallowed by dark shadows and donghyuck falling.
"no no no no no NO N-!" but before he can reach hyuck's hand he felt something slapped him.
"ya why did you do that?" Jeno ran quickly towards the now conscious boy, helping him sit down.
Jaemin caressed his now red left cheek with donghyuck's hand mark on it. he was expecting him to curse him but no, his face was priceless scared.
"hyu-hyuck yu-you"
"ya don't stutter. im sorry okay?" the said boy apologised feeling a slight guilt upon seeing the younger's expression.
"what happened?" Jaemin shook his head then asked.
"you passed out. are you okay?"
"pas-passed out?"
donghyuck rolled his eyeballs, obviously getting annoyed by the stuttering boy. he was puzzled what tf happened to his friend.
As if he's scared of something, or someone.
He can't even look directly on their eyes like he used to before. beads of cold sweat formed on his temple, waiting for them to at least say a word.
"yeah, when we're passing by the hallway where portraits of the previous owners can be seen" donghyuck explained.

"what the hell?!" jaemin stood up, hands on his hair.
he then walk back and forth after jumping up and down before pinching his cheeks and his two friends, "yo, nani tf?"
"hey calm down, you've been acting weird lately! you're already scaring the hell out of me jaem!" haechan yanked the boy's hand as he sat on the bed.
"maybe he drank too much coffee, like he always does" jeno watched in amusement the now brown haired guy starring at the window that suddenly opened.
The wind outside must be really that strong. The white curtains and his hair was drifting along. It was a heavy raining with lighting and thunders. he roamed his eyes on the yard and saw something odd and familiar as he closed the window.
"no! listen I'm about to tell you something crazy" he said looking back at them.
"aight imma tell hyung that you're awake so that they won't worry bout ya" jeno yawned making his way to the door.
"no wait please don't go" he stopped the boy by running fast to block the doorway, "look, the lights"
the said thing flickered until the whole room turned dark, "now what"
"we have to leave this house immediately, we're in danger"
"are you out of your mind? it's raining outside and our car is broken"
"yes but if we stay a little longer here something bad might happen! I saw you in my dream after you went out of this room you fell on your death! me too! I died even jungwoo and sicheng hyung! wait no, you haven't died or maybe but jisung I saw him! doyoung ssi and renjun they appeared in my dream and took us! I believe chenle can see them. I don't know if I'm still alive or am I just dreaming again but trust me-" he stopped himself after seeing their reaction.
as if he was talking nonsense.
he clicked his tongue and was about to elaborate what he was trying to say when a knock and call interrupted him, "jaemin? hyuck? jeno? are you still awake? hey come on open this!"
they let the older who was panting as if he ran all the way from his room to theirs, "glad you're alive"
jungwoo hugged the two leaving the confuse jeno with sicheng entering the room with the other guys who looks really tired, "we have to leave this house, now!"
"can't believe I'm believing you right now" mark plopped down on the bed.
"yukhei hyung, care to explain?" jeno asked.
he explained everything what jungwoo told them earning different reactions and response as if jungwoo was crazy and all but jaemin supported his statement by adding what he witnessed and experienced on his dream.
they all finally agreed to leave the house however taeyong, yuta, and jaehyun left before jungwoo convinced the others.
taeyong and yuta helping Johnny fixing the electricity back while jaehyun drinking water on the kitchen downstairs.
