A Love Is Born (Completed)

Chapter. 4

The two were fast asleep on the beds in the camp, but both were starting to stir in their sleep. Ash was the first to wake due to a smell that gave the food yesterday a run for its money, he practically floated by his nose to the main room where the breakfast was set up. But by now half of the kids were awake, so Ash hurried to grab a plate before the good food was gone. He looked back toward the bed and decided to make a plate for Serena, fearing she'd sleep through it all.

She woke up a half hour later to Ash tapping on her shoulder. He handed her a plate of food while giving his signature grin. She smiled and blushed. She accepted the plate and thanked him. She felt this was a dream, he idol bringing her a plate of food in bed like a princess. She was woken up from her daydream by Ash. After she ate, she got up and went into the bathroom to change while doing this, Ash grabbed the egg which had a crack in it, and walked to Gary and his friends.

Serena after changing into her day clothes with her signature sunhat. Went out thinking Ash was in the vicinity, he was no where to be found. She called his name lightly and got no response. She sighed and moved through the camp sulking her head.

A young boy approached the sulking Serena. He, while wearing a evil grin, decided to play a prank on the sad girl. He jumped and grabbed her hat and began to run. She gave chase after the boy, she was now in tears. The boy was laughing and giggling before he saw a boy enter this field of vision. This boy was Ash and he for the first time at the camp, was not wearing a smile. He shoved the kid down and took the hat. "That doesn't belong to you!" Ash yelled at him catching both the boy and Serena off guard.

Serena witnessed it all as Ash approached her. She practically felt like a princess being saved by her prince. He put the hat back on her head but not before wiping the dirt off of it. "You ok Serena?" Ash asked her before putting his head down explaining how sorry he was that he wasn't there at the start. Serena didn't respond but she hugged Ash tightly. "Thank you so much Ash, for everything, your my idol and having you help me like that cements that you deserve that praise"

Ash being oblivious to what she really meant, took it at face value. "Thank you Serena" he pauses, "Can you let go of me please" by now she was to he point of strangling him in the hug. Both giggled and Serena did what Ash asked. Hey Ash? She asked him, where's the egg? He sweat dropped and ran off to it. Serena facepalmed and ran after him

The pair came to the egg and placed it on the bed the two were sleeping on. Hey Ash? The honey haired girl asked, he looked at her and looked confused. Can we go for a walk? He giggled and told her that it was fine. The two then walked off. The egg then cracked again and a short fluffy red tail popped out of the crack but quickly went back in.

The pair was walking and a brown haired girl. Approached Ash. What you did to defend that girl was amazing! She said happily. Ash smiled, It wasn't anything huge, just defending a friend. This made Serena's heart happy hearing that Ash considered her a friend. She introduced herself as Allison and waved goodbye before running off. The two then continued their walk.

The siren rang and another day ended at the camp, the two went to the building and ate before sleeping. The egg they were handed would be hatching really soon, as were all the eggs.
