Epilogue

6 years later

"Serena!" My mother yells at me and I assume it was for practice. I was angry at her pushing me, I didn't want to because I didn't want to be a racer like her. I was usually subservient and listened , but not this time I wanted to sleep since it was the weekend.

I decided to fully ignore her and continued to try to sleep. Then five minutes pass and I feel a giant beak peck at my neck. It was fletching poking me and this was a sign I had to get up. I couldn't ignore the pecking any longer and gave in.

I threw on clothes and assume it was for practice, but she was watching TV. I sighed in relief and grabbed a glass of milk to join her

I see a boy on the tv on top of the tower in Lumonise city. He was trying to calm a huge Pokémon. I actually was interested in this.

What movie is this? I ask my mother
"It's not a movie, it's the news"

I sit down next to her and become engaged in the boy, he looked familiar. He then approached the Pokémon causing all the destruction and broke a sort of collar off it.

I sighed in relief at his safety. He then smiled and his Pokémon ran toward him. Then the tower under the Pokémon broke and it began a free fall.

The boy without hesitation, jumped after it and caught it while still falling. I covered my mouth in fear of the boy.

He braced himself for the landing, protecting his Pokémon, before being caught by a mysterious light. I sighed in relief and the camera zoomed in on the boy.  I recognized his hair

"Ash?" I said under my breath. My heart began to race, this was the chance I've been waiting for. I told my mother I wanted to go on a trip to Lumonise city. I grabbed a bag, filled it with clothes and quickly ran off with the handkerchief in hand and smiled.

"I'm coming Ash"

That was quite a ride :) I love this book and personally, I believe it's my best work. I hope you all enjoyed reading as much as I did writing. As a last note thank you for 1k reads, it means a lot to me :D
