Part III of 'Where Are You Now?'
"Thank you, sir. Will make sure to keep in touch," Danielle shook hands with their client as they just finished their meeting. The presentation went smoothly and the board of directors seemed to be really interested. Jade couldn't help but to feel really proud of her friend. The way she communicates and coordinates with their clients was filled with professionalism.
"I'll see you again, Ms Peazer," said the tall man with a nice suit. With that, they left to go down to the car that was waiting for them.
"You did it Danielle!" Jade squealed.
"No Jade, we did it."
After few minutes of drive, they finally arrived back at the hotel. They both went to eat lunch before deciding to go back to their rooms.
"Hey Jade, Liam arrived earlier and wanted to take me out. Will you be okay here?" Danielle asked.
"Yeah, sure," Jade said. No it wasn't really okay. She didn't know what to do in this room all alone. She didn't want to go out there alone again after what happened last night.
"Alright, text me up if there's anything." Danielle and Jade went to their separate ways and got inside their room.
Jade sighed as she threw herself on the bed. What is she going to do now? It wasn't just the bed that was too big for her, it was the whole room. She didn't even know why Danielle had to get such a massive room just for her— ten more people can sleep in this room.
Walking to the counter, she took the hotel's card and kept it just incase she decided to take a visit here again. She then suddenly remembered what she kept inside her parka last night. She took out the card that read Perrie's number with the name of the company she was working for.
She contemplated. She didn't know if she should call her or not. She admits that she missed Perrie, but is it right to bring her back to her life? It's not like they will get back together, right?
Finally deciding, she dialed the number and it immediately started ringing. She suddenly regretted it. She was about to end the call when someone spoke up.
"Hello?" The blonde says from the other side of the phone.
"Hey, is this Perrie?" Jade asked.
"Jade?" The brunette was a little surprised that Perrie actually recognized her voice right away.
