Unknown: Who is this?

Perrie: uhm...Perrie? Who's this?

Unknown: Perrie who?

Perrie: Perrie Edwards

Unknown: Are you playing prank on me?

Perrie: What? No! I don't even know who you are.

Unknown: You called me three times a while ago and I was in the middle of a meeting. You almost got me fired!

Perrie: Oh, I'm sorry... but I swear I didn't call you and I'm not playing prank on you.

Unknown: Whatever.

Call ended.

Perrie checked her recent calls to make sure she didn't possibly butt dialed a number. Although she knew she didn't make a call to that number, she was terrified. What if the woman didn't believe her? What if the woman reports it to the police and asks to block her number?

The stranger didn't sound old. She sounded like she was at her early twenties but she could be fooled. Perrie then started to wonder if she was the one being pranked. But by the tone of the unknown number's voice, she seemed pretty serious.

It has been an hour since the call. Perrie decided to save the number and checked if that person had WhatsApp.

Stranger Who Almost Got Fired

To Perrie's luck, the woman did have WhatsApp.

She had been thinking about it for the past hour. She felt the need to apologize and explain herself even if she did nothing wrong. She too wanted to find out if it was just a prank on her or was the person serious. She then decided that it was better safe than not.

Perrie: Hey, it's Perrie. I just wanted to make things clear. I really didn't call you, you were the one who called me. I'm sorry if it disturbed you though.

Perrie: Sorry...I didn't get your name and I needed to save your number to be able to text you here

Stranger: it's alright 😜 And about earlier, don't worry about it

Stranger: I'm sorry if I sounded a little harsh tho, I was just having a bad day

Perrie: It's fine. I would understand

Stranger: Anyway

Stranger: it must have been a glitch. It happened to my friend too apparently

Perrie: Hmm, I heard about that too

Stranger: Oh it's Jade btw. I never got to mention my name. My bad

Perrie: I like your name

Jade: I like yours too
