Elise's POV:
It's been years since my pack was killed. I have been on my own ever since. I try and stay on the move as much as possible. I also don't want to start anything with other wolves. The biggest rule for us werewolves is no crossing others territory. If that rule is broken the punishment is death. I for one don't fear death too much. You see I am a lot stronger than most other wolves. I was told by my mother that I was a rare, but beautiful creature. She told me a story of a wolf that was stronger than any other. How others thought he was a ghost wolf, because of how white his fur was. Then one day there was a pack of wolves that were getting attacked. She told me that he saw and would not stand by to watch. He jumped right into the fight killing every single bad wolf. After that the pack that was getting attacked asked him to join them. He politely declined them because he was better on his own. She told me that he and other wolves just like him are very important. She told me they were royal and strong. She said they are as pure to werewolves, as pure blood vampires are to...well vampires. She said that I should never see myself less than what I am. But that was a story she told me...or so I thought. As I continued walking I bumped into someone. "Oh I'm sorry I wasn't paying attention." They looked at me and looked shocked. "Oh no miss it's my bad. I should not have stopped right in front of you, I apologize." He then bows a little and walks around me. I was so confused that I didn't realize the time. 'Crap I'm going to be late again.' I started running as I was trying to make it to work on time. Oh I forgot I now live in a small town now. I used to live far away in the woods, but now I live as a normal person. I haven't shifted in a while to be quite honest. I slow down to a walk and go in the door. I see my boss Lily look my way. "I am so sorry Lily I lost track of time." She smiles and walks over to me. "Oh it's fine don't worry It hasn't been busy. Why don't you just go ahead and get changed and help Jenna." I smile and go to get changed. After I'm done I go out to meet Jenna. "Hey I'm so sorry I was late to help you." She laughed and looked at me. "Hey Elise don't be so forward just relax. You're my best friend so be casual." I laugh and relax. "Sorry it's been a weird morning today." She looked intrigued and smiled. "Oh really what happened that made it so weird?" I thought for a moment. "Well this guy was acting weird when I bumped into him. He was very nice and really formal about it being his fault." She laughed. "So basically he was being a gentleman. Really you could have just gotten his number." I laugh at what she said. "You really have no idea what it's like do you." She smiles. "Nope because I'm not a white wolf like you. I'm just a normal boring black wolf." I put my hand on her shoulder. "No you're not boring because you like to have fun. By the way for the record I happen to like your wolf so shush. At least you don't have others bowing down to you and fawning over you. I honestly don't like it at all. If I could I would switch with you in a heartbeat." She looked shocked. "Don't ever say that! You are perfect the way you are. I mean I get that you don't like all the attention, but don't say you don't want to be you. You're my best friend and I care about you. So don't say stupid things like that ok?" I smile and we get back to work. Once work was done we say goodbye and we both head home. On my way my phone started ringing. It said unknown but I decided to answer it. "Hello?" There was silence and then someone spoke. "Yes hello is this Elise, Tyra's daughter?" I was shocked that this person knows me and my mom. "Y-yes this is Elise." Again silence. "Good I am a friend of your mothers. I know this is sudden and you have a right not to trust me, but I need you to meet me. If you decide to meet me I will be waiting in the woods. It will be at the last place you remember you were as a pup. If you don't then that's fine but I will find you. Again if you choose not to then that is fine. I will see you soon goodbye." After that he hung up. I was just standing in shock that he knew who I was. I don't trust this person but I need to know who he is. I decided I was going to meet him, but he said it would be the last place I remember as a pup. I started thinking and I remembered. The last place I was when I was a pup was in the woods I grew up in. Not just anywhere in the woods it was where my pack was attacked. The place where my pack was killed.
