Hanging out

Elise's POV:
I woke up to the sound of arguing. I walked out of my room and I saw Lacey and jack at it again. I walked over and tried to get their attention. "Hello guys stop, guys seriously stop this. GUYS I SAID STOP RIGHT NOW!" After that they looked at me. "Thank you now what in the world is this all about?" Lacey looks at jack and back at me. "Well jack here thinks that it's fine to just ignore me after yesterday. I was not out of line it was him who was. I was calling him out on flirting and he got mad." Jack looks at me. "No I am ignoring you cause I am trying to calm down from yesterday. You had me so mad that I couldn't even drive. I am not talking to you because of this. Elise I am just trying to calm down and she won't let me. She jumped onto me as soon as she walked in the room." I took it all in. "Alright well you two need a break from each other. Jack if you need to calm down I know just the thing. Meet me at the front stairs and five minutes." Jack nods and walks away. Lacey looks at me like I was wrong. "Elise are you trying to take him away from everyone? Are you starting to like him?" I look at her shocked. "I don't know what you are trying to imply, but I barely know any of you. I am trying to get to know you guys better. Axel wants me to join the pack for good, then I need to know and trust everyone. You and jack going at each other all the time is not helping. So yea I am taking him somewhere to cool down. To try and get to know him better there is nothing wrong with that." I go back to my room and meet jack at the stairs. He looks at me and get up from sitting. "So where are we going to help me cool down?" I just smile and start running. He follows me and I start to run faster. I look behind me to see if he was keeping up. He was behind me but further back than I thought. I smiled at him and laughed a little. I guess that set him off cause he then caught up. After I realized we were far enough I jumped and transformed. He smiles and does the same thing. We run around for and while and I take a turn to a open area. I slowed down and started to walk over to the place I was taking him. We make it to the edge of a cliff and it looks out across the woods. I sit down and Jack come to sit beside me. I change back and I close my eyes and take a deep breath. He changes and just looks at me. "What?" He smiles and looks away. "I just didn't think we would be sitting on a cliff. I didn't realize that running is a good way to let off some steam." I smile and feel good knowing I helped him. "Yea well I learned to do that a lot when I was on my own. That's one of the ways that I kept my wolf in. Every time I felt mad or upset I would run. If I was talking to someone I would tell them I needed to go for a run. After that I would feel better and calm. When I still lived in the house I would come here often. Back then my mate was already set in stone. I knew who he was cause my mother told me who it was. His name was Daniel, I would come here with him sometimes. I was too young to fully understand what a mate meant, but later on I started to feel the pain. The constant pain that my mate was gone. That we was never going to come back and be with me forever." I started tearing up but I held back. Jack looked at me and smiled. "Hey it's alright that was in the past. When a wolfs mate passes before coming of age, then another wolf will be there. I learned that from Axel cause it happened to him. If there is anyone who knows anything about werewolf stuff, then it's him." I smile and get up from sitting. "We should head back before Lacey thinks anything." I start to walk off and he grabs my arm. "Elise can we go somewhere later? I need to get out and I want you to be with me." I nod and we start to walk back. We make it back the I see Lacey looking at me. "Listen I wanted to apologize you were right. If you are going to be a part of us, then I need you to trust me. I'm sorry are we alright?" I smiled and looked at her. "Yea we are fine thank you for apologizing." She smiles as I walk away.

Jack's POV:
As we got back I saw Lacey looking at us. After that she apologized to Elise for how she acted. Of course she apologizes to her but not me. Elise forgives her and walks off and into the house. Lacey looks at me and drops her smile. "Jack what is going on with you two?" I look at her in disbelief. "You just apologized and now you are suspecting her again?" She rolls her eyes and crosses her arms. "I know you are aware that Rebecca likes you. Did you know that when she sees you two hangin out it hurts her. She gets sad and upset and I have to help her. I think you and Elise need to not spend so much time together anymore." I roll my eyes. "For goodness sake Lacey she is not my mate. She never was and she never will be alright. I can't spend all my time with Rebecca just cause of some crush. That's not how this works at all I can't choose my mate. I will be spending time with Elise cause she needs people on her side. She needs friends and ones that actually trust her. She needs real genuine trust not fake trust from you." I then walk off and go to find Elise I turn back and she was still standing there shocked at what I said. I turn around and I see Axel. I jump back and let a small gasp out. "Axel you pop up like that again and you are going to the ground." We both laugh and then he leads me to his office. I sit after he motions me to. "Jack what was all that about Lacey not trusting Elise?" I look down and I go to shut the door. "Well before me and Elise went out to a spot she liked, me and Lacey were fighting. She came to break it up and took me to calm down. When we got back Lacey apologized for the way she acted to Elise and then changed completely after she left. She got onto me about Rebecca liking me and I told her she's not my mate. It's not my job to keep up with her little crush on me. So she got mad and told me not to hang out with Elise and now we are here." After that he let me go and I went to get Elise. I knocked on her open door as I peeked in. "Elise you in here?" I hear someone come up behind me and they say something. "I don't know is she there?" I smiled a bit knowing it was her. I turned around and realized I was too close. I backed up and chuckled nervously. "I was wanting to get you so we could hang out." She smiled at me and started to walk out the door.

Elise's POV:
I started to walk out the door as jack ran after me. "Hey you don't even know where I am taking you." I smile and keep walking. "You're right I don't, but I know that you will show me." He laughs and walks in front of me. We keep walking until we get to a town far from the house. I walk around and I knew exactly where I was. "This is where I have been staying since I left. I work at a cafe on the other side of town." He turns around and looks shocked. "You lived here and I didn't know about it?" I laugh a little. "Yea here let me show you my house." I got in front of him and started walking towards the other end of town. We reach it in about 30 minutes. I walk up a few stairs and get a key out of my pocket. I unlock the door and walk in. I see some of my stuff still here. "It looks almost empty now because I went to the pack house, but it's still mine to keep." He walks around and smiles a bit. "It looks nice, but let's go where I wanted to take you." I smile a bit and then we leave. He walked a little more and then we made it to a cave. We walk in and I saw pools of water spread out everywhere. There were a few gems peaking out and they sparkled. I smiled at the sight of it all. I saw Jack smiling at me out of the corner of my eye. I looked at him and had the biggest smile on my face. "Jack this is so amazing and beautiful." He smiles more and then he takes my hand. I blush a little and he starts to take me a little deeper. We keep walking till we get to the end of the cave. At the end was battle stories from other packs in the area. It was amazing to see the history of our kind. After that jack got a long look on his face. "Jack what's wrong?" He starts to walk back and he grabs my hand. "We need to go someone bad is on their way. I only know this because Axel just told me." I was confused at how he was told and then I remembered. Wolf packs have the ability to talk to each other telepathically. It's a strong bond the pack has. I was not in on the loop cause I am not a full member of the pack.
