7. Saving me

3rd POV 

Chapter 7 -

(JUST A LITTLE SOMETHING THAT IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE WRITTEN AT THE END OF THE CHAPTER)

["No, no, no! You can't do this! Please Marcel, don't kill him!" she begged, her voice trembling. Klaus was lying down on the floor, hurt by Marcel's and his vampires' attack.

They had caught him off guard by showing him Christine's unconscious body, right in the middle of the room. Everything was going according to the plan.

Klaus was shocked once he caught a glimpse of her. He tried to attack Marcel, although his men showed up and with his sister's help they manage to take him down. But something changed and things didn't have the end the two lovers, Marcel and Rebekah, had originally planned.

"Leave...her... alone" Klaus choked, spitting his own blood out of his mouth. Marcel was holding Christine by her neck with his one hand and had placed a wooden stake a few centimeters away from her heart, holding it in place with his other. Making one little move, would easily kill her.

Christine didn't expect that the plan would've turned out like this, she actually hoped the opposite. After being brainwashed by Marcel for four months and having to be tortured by Davina, she was fully convinced that she had to kill the true love of her life, her soulmate, Klaus. The magic spell that Davina did, made her become a soulless monster who only wanted to kill and nothing else. But everyone knows that every spell has a luppohl.]

FOUR MONTHS LATER

Klaus couldn't believe that had lost Christine from his life once again. He hadn't seen her for four months and nobody knew what had happened to her. At first, he thought Marcel was behind her disappearance and threatened to kill him if he wouldn't speak, but then he understood that he didn't know anything. His second thought was that the witches had put their finger on this and asked them too, but again he came to a dead-end. His third and last thought, which he afraid of the most, was that Christine had abandoned him, for real this time. He didn't want to believe this because; he wouldn't be able to handle the pain of his one true love leaving him. He didn't want to feel the giant hole in his heart which was once filled by her. He just couldn't.

Christine on the other hand, wanted nothing more but to kill him. After all this time, she just couldn't think or act on her own. She had become so loyal to Marcel that she didn't know what was right or wrong anymore. She simply didn't care about anything. The only thing she wanted, was to kill him and then do whatever her "new master" would order her to do. Her beliefs, her emotions, her true self were all gone. The once caring, sarcastic and sassy vampire had turned into an indifferent and cold hearted monster.

And as Elijah, was trying to find the love of his brother's life, Marcel and Rebekah were plotting against Klaus and were seeing over and over the plan to spot any weaknesses. They couldn't find any but they were checking continuously just to be sure they would take the powerful hybrid down. They didn't want to fail like the one time with Michael.

The plan was to bring Klaus to Marcel's "layer" and show him a beaten up, weak, full of vervain Christine who was being kept and tortured by him for four months. Although, it was her choice to help kill Klaus, Marcel had been brainwashing her and making her life a living hell in order to come to that decision. She was after all in an emotionless state, hence why she decided to take part in this.

Today was the day that this had had to end. Marcel decided that it was the correct time to make his move and done with this. Today was the day that he along with Rebekah would kill Klaus. So he called and told the hybrid to come find him, because he had found where Christine was. And like Marcel had expected, he fell for the trap. It was like the mention of her was the magic key to make Klaus forget everything and everyone just to find her.
