I slowly opened my eyes the light shining in to them.
"I'm in a hospital room again"
I look around for my clothes and put them on and lay back down on my bed.
"Dammit I didn't make it in time"
My hand went up to my eye and I felt a tear. why was I crying, but I then remembered that Auska saved me by stabbing a cranite needle into me actually twice. the door opened and I saw Misato.
"Where's Auska?" I asked
"At the apartment with shinji" a tear fell from her eye as she said that
"Why are you crying"
"I-I thought I had lost you already"
She ran up to me and gave me a hug, my hands slowly fell on to her back and I said.
"I'm not dying yet and I've experienced worse"
She slowly got out I the hug with me wiped the tears and said
"We better get going then"
"Yea we should"
I followed her out and then we got into the car. I looked at my hands and saw a slight mark from were I had holes from that angel. I then thought what would've happened if I died instead of Auska? what would she have done? I brushed it off and just stared out the window. we got back to the apartment and Shinji said hi but Auska just stared at me like there was something wrong with me. I didn't stare back and I went to my room, I opened the door and then closed fast. I walked over to my bag and grabbed the photo frame with the picture of Auska in it. I laid down on my bed and put it on my chest.
"Don't remember anytime soon you don't want to experience that pain"
I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
I woke up to the sound of birds chirping and the wind flowing through my window. I opened my eyes and remembered that I didn't open my window. I walked out into the lounge room and saw that Shinji was the only one up.
"Morning Philip" he said
"Did you open my window"
"Yes I did why do you ask"
"Did you see a photo frame"
"Yea but i didn't see the photo"
"Thank god"
"Why who's in the photo?" he asked
"No one that you know" I cautiously said
"Ok whatever"
I walked into the kitchen to get some breakfast and saw a note on the fridge from Misato it said 'will be out for a while wont be back till 5:00pm and Philip if you're reading this note you start school tomorrow.' I thought to myself that is good hopefully I see Rana and she doesn't remember about me. Auska's door opened again as always my head snapped to the doorway.
"Morning Auska" Shinji said
"Stupid Shinji you know nothing" she replied
"What did I say I just said good morning"
They started to fight and I saw Auska go to hit Shinji for no reason but for some reason I dropped my toast and jumped in between of Auska and Shinji. her hand slapped my face and I fell to the ground her expression was blank with her hand over mouth.
"Still hit as hard as ever" I mumbled
"W-why?" Shinji stuttered
"I deserve it"
