I looked down a my hands and saw the holes they were in the exact same spot where the other angel had did this.
"Why do I pilot Eva" I said to myself "well I guess I should eject"
I pulled at the handle and the plug went flying out. I hit the ground and opened the plug, the fluid poured out when the door opened. I stood up and was just about to drop to the ground when I lost control. I fell and my head banged against the ground. I lay there blood dripping out of my hands and blood flowing down my forehead.
2 days later
I woke up in a hospital bed but this time I wasn't alone. there was a shadowy figure sitting at the end of my bed. The future leaned into the light but all I saw was purple hair.
"Oh hi Misato"
"Good morning" she said while smiling at me
"How long have I been out for?" I asked
"Two days"
"What two days, I've been basically sleeping for two days!!"
"Yep"
I looked out the window and saw it was nighttime. I rubbed my head and felt a lump and then I felt a bandage running across my forehead.
"What happened to me?" I asked
"You had a severe blood loss so you lost control of your body and you fell."
I heard the door open and I saw two shadowy figures. they must've been looking at me and saw that I was awake.
"Good he's finally awake" I heard a voice say
And from the sounds of it Auska brought Shinji with her.
"Hello guys"
"Hi" Shinji replied back bit Auska didn't say a word
Shinji walked into the light and I saw he had the same bandages up to his elbows. Auska walked into the light to see there was nothing wrong with her.
"Well how long until I can leave?" I asked
"Umm about... now" she replied
"Well lets go" I said "also all of you get out I need to get changed"
They all walked out and I got up to get changed but there were bandages spiriting up my leg. what did I do to myself I thought. after I got my clothes on I walked out the door and said lets go. We all went down to the car, we were about five metres away from the car when I said 'shotgun front' I bolted towards the door and they weren't far behind. I opened the door and jumped in. I looked down at my foot and saw some blood.
"Best not do that again" I said to myself
Shinji and Auska didn't look happy they sat in the back with Auska behind me and Shinji behind Misato. while we were riding home Auska started kicking the chair. she still had that grumpy look on her face I just ignored it. once we got home I said I would go take a bath. they just shrugged to say go ahead. I went in to the bathroom and started running the bath. I made sure the bandages on my arm were waterproof same with my leg ones. I striped my clothes and got into the bath. I got in and looked at the water, it was changing to red because of my bandages. I noticed the bandages had blood all over them. I decided to get out but that was the moment I realised something, I realised that an angel was about to attack. I dried myself off as fast as i could and then got changed I ran out into the lounge room and said.
"An angel will be here any minute now"
"How do you know there's nothing wrong no blasts or any..." she was cut off by a massive blast hitting above NERV HQ
"Lets go now" I said as I was running out the door
They followed me until we got to Misato's car.
"Quick everybody in!" Misato exclaimed
We all jumped in to the car and Misato peddled to the medal.
"HuH last time I used this was when I picked you up Philip"
"You don't mean"
"Yes I do"
"Brace yourselves" I said to Shinji and Auska
Misato activated the nitrous in her car and we went flying. it took us 10 minutes to get there but usually it only takes 25minutes. we got down to the hangar and Auska and Shinji went and got into their plug suits. I went over to my Eva and got into the entry plug. Ritsko did the usual safety checks and I just waited to be launched. two more minutes later Auska and Shinji arrived getting into their Eva's.
"Hurry up and launch me" I said calmly
"Fine ill do it" Ritsko said through the radio
My Eva started moving and I brought up the com channel between the 3 Eva's.
"Hurry up" I said with a smirk on my face "you're taking forever"
"Just you wait until I get my hands on you!!!" Auska yelled through the coms.
"Casual Auska" I said
"Just wait until I..."
"Close channel of Eva unit 2."
I got launched up to the surface and there the angel was standing waiting for me.
"Hello beautiful" I said while smirking
I charged at it with my combat knife but as soon as I got close its AT field came up. my blade sliced through it like butter, but before I could hit it I got thrown back by a massive blast of energy.
"What the hell" I said
I charged again but I wasn't as close but still got blown back.
"What's going on Ritsko!" I yelled into the coms
"I don't know it must have some type of rejection shield" she replied
"Then what do I do?" I asked
"I come into play!" I heard a voice say
Auska's unit came out and got behind the angel and stabbed it in its core but it didn't die.
"Why isn't it dead yet?" Auska asked
"Because we need Shinji up here, I was the distraction you were the decoy and Shinji is going to come from the front and take it down." I replied
"But that's no fair" she stubbornly said
"Just get over it"
Shinji came up in an instant and charged at the angel he stabbed the combat axe into the angel and it burst into blood.
"Target eliminated" I heard Shinji say.
I sat there in my Eva and looked at the visual coms, there was a look on Auska's face but I couldn't tell what expression there was but I brushed it off. I looked at my hands and saw that there was blood on them.
"Why do I do this?" I asked myself
I ejected the plug and fell unconscious.
