Chapter 19 Bloody Legends!

Chapter 19

Josh and I went out for lunch. It was great we laughed about past memories, and resolved problems that would end up in the future.

"So umm. I know this is a sensitive subject but we really need to discus it." Josh started.

"go on." I took a sip from my blue heaven milkshake. 

"how would you feel about moving back to Australia?"

I didn't answer for a while, the thoughts raced through my head, a new beginning was standing right in from of me, a new door to open. Why not?

But then I thought about leaving Alex. I couldn't do that.

"Eliza?" Josh looked me in the eye.

"I-I. I'm not sure." 

"I'll leave you to think about it, but I think you'll have to get used to the idea, because I can't think of another way around this."

"Josh.. Thank you."

"no problem. I got forced into moving here, I know exactly how it feels." He smiled sweetly at me. Why is my brother so perfect?

"Anyways.. Who's this Alex guy?"

"How do you know his name?" I asked.

"oh. I over heard you talking to him."

He grinned at me knowing how awkward I felt. He didn't want to talk about Alex, his little sisters boyfriend. He was just making small talk, which by the way was really unnecessary. 

"ah. He's just a friend."

"Eliza. I'm not stupid. I was once 15 to!" he laughed. "but make sure he knows that if he ever does anything to you I will whip his ass to the freakin moon." he grinned.

I wasn't really sure what to say, I knew he was joking but also somewhat seriously.

"okay then." we both started laughing.

Josh and I got home around about an hour later.

-Josh's P.O.V-

I unlocked the front door just in time to catch the phone ringing.

"Hello?" I answered.

"good after noon, Mr. Robinson this is Olly Philips from the real-estate office how are you today."

I knew what this was about, I went upstairs so Eliza didn't over hear any bad news.

"I'm good thanks." I replied.

"ah. It has come to my realization, that Ms. Eliza Robinson and yourself are living at 5 Kings road?"

"Yes. We are." I replied really unsure of what I was meant to say.

"Mr. Robinson, the mortgage for your house hasn't been paid in 6 months so the bank has foreclosed on the loan and the house has been put on the market."

"What!" I yelled by accident.

"your house is on the market." He replied.

"no I got that. I mean, seriously the mortgage hasn't been paid in 6 months?"

"Yes Mr. Robinson. Once the house has been sold you will have 3 months to vacate."

"Thank you for your time Mr. Robinson." Olly said in a very serious business voice.

I hung up the phone and slid down the wall, head in hands and hands huddled up around my knees.

"Joshhh?" Eliza called. "I'm gonna start the movie if you don't come down."

"I'll be down in a sec." I called not realizing she was climbing up the stairs and we now starring at me.

"Josh. What's wrong?" she sat down next to me."

"dad wasn't paying the mortgage..." he trailed off.

"so.. What does that mean?"

"that means the house is on the market."

"WHAT!" she stood up.

"there has to be something we can do."

"no. There isn't, but when the house is sold we'll have 3 mouths to get out shit out."

We were both there in the hallway in silence. Eliza deep in thought.

"I know what we can do!" Eliza ran downstairs.

I followed her wondering what she could have possibly thought of that I hadn't.

Eliza and I had out plan. It was magnificent if I might say so myself, we had a bit of planning to do and lets just say... Some acting?

-Eliza's P.O.V-

Josh and I were making our plans and working out everything that we'll need, just when there was a knock at the door.

"Alex!" I smiled rapping my arms around him.

"you weren't at school today?" he said shutting the door behind him.

"oh my god I'm so sorry, I forgot all about that, Josh took me out for lunch."

"that's okay." he kissed my cheek.

Josh, Alex and I all sat in the lounge room watching the tv.

"Where are you going?" Josh asked me as I stood up, both Josh's and Alex's eyes on me.

"to the toilet jeez!" I laughed.

-Alex's P.O.V-

I don't know what it was but I just had a guy feeling about Josh, he seemed a little too protective of Eliza and I didn't really want to be left alone with him.

"the ravens? Their pretty cool!" Josh spoke breaking the awkward silence, I looked down at my ravens wristband I was wearing.

"yeah! You a fan?"

"I met them last year with my old schools rugby team. They're blood legends." he agreed.
