Ok! You wanted it! So here it is!

One day later...

-Harvey's POV-

"The Dex Downer had escaped Hemworth!"

I gaze up from my book to the young officer shouting and waving papers to his fellow officers.

"Wut?! It escaped again!?" Exclaimed Winnicky.

"Y..yes! Just this week! Dr. Verloc just recently gave the news." Confirmed Fruntington.

"Well I'll be..." Jittered another officer. "You mean that downer is out here..with US? Again!?"

"I'm afraid so sir. Photographs has it he's probably in this area."  He throws down a couple of photos of the downer.

I stand up to get a better look at them. Instead of seeing a frightened man running from the aggressive civilians, I see a mad man. The pictures show him beating a defenseless man and woman to death in the street with his bare hands. Others are trying to stop him, including a couple bobbies. But it was probably no use, another picture shows him in the same area, looking up at the camera, blood-lust in his eyes. Another one with him running from more bobbies and townsfolk with the bodies of the previous ones bludgeoned on the ground. Other pictures depict the same events in different areas, each area closer to MaidenHolm.

Constable Winnicky stares down at the pictures with horror in eyes tired eyes. "My god...it looks worse than-"

"My Punishment Room...yes I know." I cut him off.

He makes a short noise as if he were going to say something in opposition but instead says "Yes yes..I suppose."

I stare at the pictures some more. My mind running with questions of confusion and intrigue. The other officers seem to be asking them too.

"Who could be the cause of such an atro'city?"

"A Dex Downer that's what!"

"But this couldn' be the same downer is it? He normal'ly runs from us, especial'ly so many."

"What kind of brute strength of man can do this?"

"No doubt some experiment from Verloc. You him, always doin' somethin' funny with those subjects of his. No doubt he did it the Dex Downer as well." I tell them as I scoop up the photos and walk away.

We have many questions that I too would like to be answered. But for now, I have to take this opportunity while it exists. Which means, I have to keep the others occupied.

"W..well? What you wish of us Chief Harvey? What would you have us do?" Piped up Winnicky. "We can't jus' ignore this man while he's out there doin' god knows what."

"We can't just let him get a'way! Dr. Verloc will have our' heads!"

I looks back over my shoulder at the lot. "True, but come to think of it...we should be asking the biggest question of all. Why has it takin' it so long for Verloc to report this to us now?"

The room went silent then resonated with low murmurs of intrigued questions. Each of them already in deep discussion about a useless thought.

Heh, like the sheeple they are. They mind as well have to brains to think with.

Fruntington stared at me confused as why I would say that. He knows that it was clearly not the biggest question in the room, but knew better than to speak otherwise. He knows what I'm trying to do, clever boy, but he'll end up meeting a terrible fate if he stepped out of line.

Not that I'd do anything to him.

I step inside the bobby chute and in an instant I shot up and around the building until I finally land in my office. I open drawer filled with nails and stick them into the photos, pining them to the wall in a neat line. I giggle to myself and twirl around the room in glee.
