Ties

The palace of Mewar is decorated. Family and friends are invited for the engagement of the prince and his would be wife. Naira and Kartik are receiving all the guests along with Akshara. The security is very tight for the safety of everyone as many people are invited.

Bride Room

Keerti is getting Tara ready for the engagement ceremony. Tara "I want to talk to Naksh." Keerti "you are going to get engaged to him in little less time. How will hr come here. Everyone has surrounded him."
Tara "I just want to talk him. I can't do this before talking to him.
Keerti "but babe....." Tara "please...."
Keerti "okay wait.... I will do something. You stay here" she said assuring her.

Keerti went downstairs andsaw Naksh talking to some men. She excused them and brought Naksh to a corner. Naksh "what happened? why did you brought me here?" Keerti "Tara wants to talk to you. She is scared."
Naksh "now? why is she scared tho?"
Keerti "I don't know. You have to talk to her. Come." Keerti was going upstairs with Naksh when Akshara saw them. Akshara "where are you both going?" Naksh "actually mumma I... I need my phone from my room." Akshara "wait. I will send someone to bring your phone here only."
Naksh "no mumma, I need make an urgent call also. Will be back in 10." Akshara "okay. Keerti beta bring Tara downstairs after 15 minutes." Keerti nodded and went to the room where Tara was waiting for Naksh.

Keerti "you go inside, I will wait here only." Naksh nodded and went inside the room and locked it from inside only. Tara heard the door being locked and she saw Naksh there. She ran and hugged Naksh. Naksh "what happened Tara?" Tara "I'm scared Naksh."
Naksh "why baby, don't you wanna marry me?" he said sadly. Tara "I want to but.... I'm scared of other things....." Naksh made Tara sit on the bed and sat on his one knee on the floor cupping her face in his hands "tell me..." Tara "what if people didn't accepted me as their queen? what if they start rebillion again us..... what if start don't want me as their king's wife?" Naksh "and who said that they will not accept you? I have full faith in you baby.... they will love the way you will rule just like they love mumma. Trust me...." He got up and held her hands in his "don't think about all this. Now get up and get ready.... I wanna marry you... spend the rest of my life with you because I love you.... only you...." Nakdh got up and start leaving but stopped in mid way and turned "come fast.... I want everyone to see my futurr wife and their futute queen" he said smiling which brought a smile on Tara's face also. Naksh left the room.

Keerti entered the room and saw Tara sitting on the bed. Keerti "come, its time." Keerti brought Tara downstairs.  Everyone's eye was on her only but she was just looking at Naksh who was looking at her lovingly. Keerti made Tara stand beside Naksh. Both of them held hands.

Thy were made to sit on the special chairs. Keerti and Kartik stood beside Tara and Rishi and Naira beside Naksh. Keerti had Tara's ring which she was going to make Naksh wear and Naira had Naksh's which he was going to make Tara wear it. Naksh took the ring and made it wear to Tara and Tara then made Naksh wear her ring. Everyone started applausing and congratulating them. Both of them got up and took blessings of Akshara and hug their friends. Naira "welcome to the family bhabhi."
Tara liked the sound of being called as a bhabhi.

Every media person took their photographs to put them on their front pages.

After engagement everyone left. Naksh and everyone settled down to eat breakfast. Akshara was stiing in the head of the family's chair. Tara between Naksh and Rishi, Keerti beside Keerti then Kartik sat across from Naksh and Naira beside him. While eating Kartik held Naira's hand under the table. Naira was trying to remove her hand from his grip but couldn't. Kartik had a mischevious smile on his face and Naira had a blushing face. Naira was eating with her right hand which was notiched by Rishi. He thought of teasing them a little "Naira, why are you eating with your left hand? You are righty, right?" he said with a smirk on his face. Everyone also noticed it. Kartik left her hand in hurry praying that no one seeing him holding her hand.
Naira "uhh..... yeah... I am but... but my hand... yeah my right is.... paining...." she said stammering. Everyone laughed on them leaving both of them embarrased. Kartik gave Rishi a murderous look. They whole time Kartik and Naira could not meet anyone's eye because of embarrasment of getting caught red handed. Akshara left after eating. Everyone started laughing and teasing both of them including Naksh. Naira got up and was about to ran to her room when Keerti and Tara blocked her way. Keerti "where are you trying to go Mrs.Princess?" Naira "I.... I have some work... I gotta go..." she was about to go but Kartik held her hand and pulled her towards him and put his hand on her shoulder. Rishi and Keerti hooted for them.
Rishi "guys, I have an mind blowing idea." All(except Naira) "please no more ideas...." Rishi "wait guys at least no?" Naksh "shoot." Rishi "we all should go on a date together with are partners.... it could be double date like we used to have in States but here the difference will be that it will be a triple date. What say?" Tara "yeah, it could be fun." Naira "wow, lets go." Tara "you are so much in hurry to go on a date with your husband, huh?" Naira "uh... nothing like that bhai.... its just...." without completing her sentence she ran to her room. Everyone started laughing.
