Being on a plane with Hail was pretty dang awesome. The plane on the way back and three seats together, so Hail and Lacey sat in the front and next to them was a very nice old woman who Lacey found lovely. Luke, Peter, and Donny were right behind.
Luke was streaming Spongebob Squarepants episodes on his phone with earbuds. He wanted the flight to end, so he could go show Hail the best restaurant in town. Peter was coloring a Pokemon book while listening to Five Seconds of Summer. He needed time to past too; he wanted to show Hail the super secret surprise he had for her in Lacey's house. Donny had earphones and leaned back in the seat. He wanted the flight to last forever, a nice peaceful time. . .
"SHE LOOKS SO PERFECT STANDING THERE IN MY AMERICAN APPAREL UNDERWEAR!!!"
Donny sighed. This is why he never had children.
Lacey and Hail laughed, turning the music up high and sighing louder. The other passengers weren't even bothered by it. Some of them laughed and Lacey swore the old lady started lip synching.
"I DONT WANNA GO, I DONT WANNA GO."
"SOLID WORDS ARE HARD TO SPEAKKK."
"WHEN YOUR THOUGHTS ARE ALL I SEE!"
"DONT EVEN LEAVE SHE SAID TO MEE!"
"WHEN WE BOTH FALL ASLEEP UNDERNEATH THE SAME SKYYYYY!"
"TO THE BEAT OF OUR HEARTS AT THE SAME TIME!!"
"SO CLOSE BUT SO FAR AWAYYYY!"
Lacey couldn't contain her laughter. Best friends made the world totally radical. Lacey and Hail. She liked the way it even sounded, like it was a match made in heaven. Best friends until forever ends.
Peter found the girl's singing adorable. His girlfriend and basically his little sister jamming to 5SOS was perfection to him. He was tempted to scream the song too, but Luke was laughing his head off like a five year old while watching Spongebob. To end such a thing would be a cruel sin upon a humanity. (Peter likes big words.)
Hail leaned back in her seat, looking at the puffy clouds.
"I want to jump on them."She said, chewing on gum.
"Actually, they're made out of water and the pressure increase and severe lack of oxygen would kill you."Donny said, not looking up from his newspaper.
"That's lovely."Lacey said, shaking her head.
"Woah, Donny totaled ruined the moment."Hail said, laughing.
"I HAVE AN IDEA!"Luke announced, jumping out of his seat.
The air hostess looked at him kind of funny.
"Which is never good."Lacey whispered to Hail, and they giggled hysterically.
"LETS. . ."Luke said, pausing for effect."COVER THE BASEMENT OF LACEYS HOUSE WITH COTTON CANDY AND THEN JUMP AROUND AND THEN EAT THE COTTON CANDY SINCE ITS COTTON CANDY AND COTTON CANDY IS DELICIOUS."
He looked very proud of himself.
Lacey was shocked. This was a whole new level of insane. Even for Luke.
"I. . .LOVE IT!"Hail said, laughing."ITS INSANE BUT GUMMY BEAR YOU ARE INSANE SO IT WORKS."
Hail is cream puff, Lacey is pie, Luke is gummy bear, and Peter is meatloaf. Don't judge.
"THIS IS WHY I LOVE HAIL!"Luke said, sitting back down.
Please let this plane ride end soon. Donny thought. I think I left the stove on.
