Chapter 3 

The study of alchemy is based on the law of equivalent exchange: in order to obtain or create something, something of equal value must be lost or destroyed. 

Hachiro underessed and washed his longish naturally grey hair which was cut in a mohawk, he stood is head under the shower as he looked into the large mirror what is it... why do i keep thinking about that girl?

The girl's voice, "thank you very much."

Those words remain in my mind. Hachiro takes off the water and raises his head as he stares into the mirror, I gotta stop thinking about her. sighed, "maybe Tatsuya might be up for studying tonight, then again when is he ever not up for studying." 

                      The next day Hachiro sat in class but he was staring out at the cherry blossom trees and imagining the girl standing in them she is a freshman, i'm a senior.....i can''t keep thinking about her it's not like i will ever be able to talk to her again......still she is very brilliant she was the representative for the freshman of this year.

At the opening ceremony Hachiro sat at the higher rows with the rest of the seniors and then the girl's name was announced................the freshman sakura walked onto the stage and bows then she began to speak. Her voice was soothing and encouraging as she adressed the school body. Everyone rendered her their undevided attention and at the end a standing ovation. 

Hachiro still looking out the window thought, if i wasn't so bad with names i would have remebered the name they called when she walked onto the stage. Then he shook his head, "i'm an idiot!"

The teacher along with everyone looked at Hachiro.

"Matsushita-kun you are disrupting my class, the class you should be paying attention too."

It was then Hachiro realized that everyone was looking at him, he cleared his throat and sat back.

I must see her again.....it's the only way i will know for sure what is going on with me.
