The rest of the day was pretty uneventful. Though they were only over for a short time, Luna seemed to be exhausted afterwards, and spent the afternoon asleep. Of course, she couldn't sleep in a bed, because that would be too un-cat-like, so she slept on my lap, making me unable to move for a solid 3 hours. I didn't mind too much, since there was a movie marathon going on, but not having the option to get up to use the restroom is rather difficult, and especially after all of that tea. Eventually, my parents came home and made dinner, which woke her up fairly quickly.

After dinner, my mother also gave her a haircut, bringing it up to her shoulders. After all of us calling her cute and giving her lots of attention and head pats, she seemed to grow a bit of an ego and swished her hair around like a diva for the rest of the night.

The next morning, I was peacefully asleep, dreaming about not talking to people, when suddenly-

Scratch Scratch.

I heard a noise at my door. A very familiar noise, by this point, but not familiar enough to sleep through it. Luna's wake up call comes almost every morning, so at times I turn off my alarm clock so she can wake me up without the jarring riing that comes with waking up.

Scratch Scratch.

"Hey, are you awake?!" I hear from the other side of the door. Scratch Scratch.

To be honest, I'm surprised she hasn't learned to open my door and bodyslam my still-sleeping body, though that doesn't mean I want her to. It would be a little easier on her nails, though... After another Scratch Scratch and a call for me to wake up, I slowly crawl out of bed and lumber over to the door to answer the little girl on the other side.

"You are awake!" she exclaimed, with her poofy white ears perking up and visible excitement appearing on her face. "Can we have food now?!"

"You mean breakfast?" I said groggily, stepping past her and walking into the hallway.

"No, I mean food!" She ran ahead of me and turned around to look up at my half-asleep face.

"You know, the first food you have in the day is called breakfast." I said, entering the kitchen and reaching for a box of cereal.

"I thought it was called food," she said, looking at me confused. I reached for a box of sugary marshmallow cereal, but decided against it, seeing how hyped up Luna was already. I instead reached for a box of regular cereal that wasn't made of nothing but sugar.

"It is, but there are other names for it too. When you first wake up, the first food you eat is breakfast. Then around noon, you eat lunch. After that, you eat at night, which is called dinner."

"That is a lot of food..." Luna said, with a buffet appearing in her eyes. I pulled the cereal out of the cupboard and filled two bowls with it. I then poured milk in them and set one in front of Luna, who had learned to sit in the chair on her own. She then picked up a spoon and started shoveling cereal in her mouth, slower than when we first met, but still within the realm of savagery. Meanwhile, I ate my cereal still standing, because I learned to never sit next to Luna while eating. Her desperate little eyes after finishing a meal have started becoming too much for me to resist, so she always gets the last of my food.

"Why is this called breakfast?" Luna asked, watching me take her empty bowl over to the sink.

"Because it's short for breaking your fast," I replied, placing the bowls in the sink and walking over to the living room. Luna hopped out of her seat and followed me.

"What does that mean...?" She looked at me with another confused face.

"Well, when you don't eat for a while, that's called a fast. When you finally eat something after fasting, it's called breaking your fast. At night, you're sleeping, so you don't eat anything for a while, which is like fasting."

"So when you eat something in the morning... that is breaking a fast too?"

"Right," I said, sitting on the couch and turning on the TV. Luna stood at the door, staring at me. I glance over at her, and she looks like she wants to do something. "Is something wrong," I ask.

"Um... what was that circle-y thing that we got that one time?" That didn't help much...

"Circle-y thing?"

"Yes, the circle-y thing! It moves really fast and has 2 circles."

"You mean a bicycle?"

"Yes! That's what it is!" Luna runs up to me. "Can we play with bicycle?!" She looks at me with her little begging eyes, the same ones she uses to steal my food. She's learned that whenever she makes those eyes, she'll definitely get what she wants. Sadly, this time was no exception.

"Are you sure, it's starting to get a little cold outside," I said, desperately trying to evade the situation. I knew I wouldn't be able to hold out much longer.

"It is okay, we have coat!" Her begging eyes became more intense. I didn't know she had this kind of power inside her.

"Alright, alright, let's go..." I said, pulling myself off the couch. Luna cheered behind me as we went to the closet to put on some light jackets, since it wasn't too cold outside, but was definitely worse than before.

As I walked out of the house and around to the side, Luna skipped next to me and seemed a little more hyper than usual. We had gotten the bikes a few days before since my parents thought it would be a good idea to teacher her how to ride them, but we hadn't had a chance to try them since George and Mari came the day before.

When we turned to the other side, however, there was an issue. Neither of us had put a chain on our bikes because we live in a relatively calm neighborhood, but when we reached the bikes, there was only one left. Luna's was missing.

Luna looked at the space confused, before looking back up at me. "Where is the bicircle?"
