Chapter 3 <3

~Friday~
I woke up to someone jumping onto my bed. I jolted awake and looked around, on alert. Dahvie and Jayy were smiling at me. Dahvie got off of the bed and stood next to Jay.
"Happy Birthday, Ashlynn!" They both yelled.
I smiled at them. It was the first time I've smiled at any of them.
"Thanks, guys." I said.
I guess I was beginning to warm up to them.
"Umm...you mom said we don't have to go to school today." Jayy said.
I smiled wider.
"Jayy and I want to take you out today too." Dahvie said.
"Ok. Just let me get ready." I said.
They walked out and I got up. I walked into my bathroom and took a shower. Then, I got out and got dressed. I did everything a little bit different. I blow dried my hair and curled it. When it was done, I put some hair spray in it to make sure it stayed. Then, I put some eyeliner on. I grabbed my phone and walked downstairs. I walked into the kitchen. Everyone was there.
"Happy birthday, sweetie." My mother said when I walked in.
My 'father' walked up to me with a box wrapped in paper in his hand. He handed it to me.
"Happy birthday, Ashlynn." He said.
"Thanks." I said.
They all watched me as I opened my present. I gasped at what I saw. It was a box of a bunch of jewelery. It was beautiful. I looked at my father.
"Thank you! I love it!" I said.
I walked up to him and hugged him. He seemed surprise by my action. He hesitantly placed his arms around me to return the gesture. After a moment, we pulled away. I took on of the necklaces out of the box and placed it around my neck. My mother smiled at me. I sat down in my spot at the counter, next to Jayy. My mom placed a plate of pancakes and bacon in front of me. But, not just any pancakes. These were chocolate chip pancakes with butter, whip cream, and strawberries on top. My mother had even placed a candle on top as well.
"Make a wish..." She urged.
I thought about it. I wish my wish and blew out the candle. They all clapped. I rolled my eyes and started eating. Everyone else just had regular pancakes. When I was finished, I set my plate in the sink. Jayy and Dahvie looked at me.
"Ready for the best birthday experience of your life?" Dahvie asked.
"Umm...suree." I dragged out my words.
Jayy grabbed my hand and bolted out the door to my car. Dahvie followed with my keys in hand. I raised an eyebrow.
"How did you get my keys?" I asked.
"Your mom grabbed them out of your school bag for me before we woke you up. We also turned your alarm clock off last night." Dahvie explained.
"Well, we pulled the plug out of the wall since we couldn't figure out to turn the fucking thing off." Jayy said as we got into my car.
Dahvie sat in the back while Jayy got into the driver's side.
"O.o let's go to the mall." Jayy said before backing out of the driveway.
"Be careful with my baby!!" I warned.
"Your baby?" Dahvie asked.
"It's the only thing that I own that is worth anything." I said.
"Ohh." He said.
Once we got to the mall, we parked and got out. We walked in. I immediately set out to find a Hot Topic. Jayy and Dahvie followed me. I walked into the store and looked around. Dahvie and Jayy both said that they'd buy me anything I wanted, no matter the cost, for my birthday. I found what I wanted and Dahvie payed for it. We walked out of the store and walked around. People recognized them and asked for autographs and pictures. I didn't mind though. Shit happens. I spotted a pet store. I grabbed Dahvie's hand and dragged him into the store. Jayy followed. I looked at the puppies. I saw a black Pomeranian puppy. It was so cute. It reminded me of a fox. Then, I saw the cutest Siberian Husky puppies. with the brightest blue eyes. I melted.
"You want them, don't you?" Jayy asked.
"You don't have too..." I trailed off as Jayy walked off to the store clerk.
She walked over to us as Jayy pointed to the puppies.
"Jayy.." I started.
He winked at me. They lady turned to us.
"I'll go get that papers you have to fill out." She said before walking away.
A couple minutes later, she was back with the papers and a pen. I was about to grab it but Jayy did instead. He filled everything out and handed it back to the lady.
"I'll be right back with your copies and the puppies." She said.
Once she walked away, I turned back to Jayy.
"You know, you didn't have to get me a puppy." I said.
"I got you two and it your birthday present from me." He said.
"Yeah, but still...you didn't have too." I said.
A few minutes later, the lady came back. She handed me one puppy and gave Dahvie the other. Mine went limp in my arms. It was adorable.
"You two can pick put a collar and leash for them." She suggested.
Dahvie and I walked over to the wall with the collars and leashes. We chose a collar and leash for the puppies. We walked to the register where the lady and Jayy were. We places the collars and leashes on the counter while Jayy places dog food and treats beside them. Jayy payed for everything. Dahvie and I carried the puppies to the car while Jay was stuck carrying the bags. This time, Jay sat in back and Dahvie drove. I held both puppies. I opened my window a little so the puppies could feel the breeze.
"What are we gonna name you?" I said, looking at them.
"Are they male or female?" Jayy asked.
I checked.
"Girls." I answered.
"Hmmm...name one Snow." Dahvie suggested.
"Ok. Now the other.." i said.
We all thought about it. We still hadn't come up with a name when we got home. We got out. Jayy grabbed my bags while Dahvie grabbed the puppy we had just named Snow.
"Hey, Jayy, hand me the collars and leashes, please." I said.
He handed them to me. I handed Dahvie his while I took mine. We put the collars in the puppies and hooked the leashes to them.  We set them on the ground to see if they'd go potty. They both did.
"Good, girls." I praised them.
Jayy gave them a treat. Then, we picked the puppies up and went inside.
"Mom?" I called.
"In the kitchen." She called back.
We all walked into the kitchen. She was busy looking at things in a magazine.
"Mom, look what Jayy got me for my birthday."
She looked up.
"Awww, aren't they cute. What are their names?" She asked.
"This one's Snow." Dahvie said.
My mom smiled. "What about this one?"
"I don't know. We're still figuring it out." I said.
O.o What about Shasta?" My mom suggested.
"Ok. I love it." I said.
"The lady said that they're potty trained but they might do their business in the house since it a new place." Jayy said.
I nodded.
"You can set them down." My mom said.
Dahvie and I set them down. They immediately started to walk around, investigating their new surroundings. When they were done looking around, I picked them both up and brought them upstairs to my room. Jayy and Dahvie followed me. Jayy gave me my things. I put everything away and set the dog stuff by my bed. Snow was curled up in a ball by my night stand. Jayy had Shasta in his lap. I grabbed my wallet and keys.
"Can you guys do me a favor?" I asked.
"Yeah." They answered.
"Can you watch them? I need to go to the store really quick." I said.
They nodded. I walked downstairs.
"Mom? Wanna come with me to the store?" I asked, walking into the kitchen.
"Actually, yes. I need a few items." She said, grabbing her purse.
We both walked out to my car and got in. Once we got to the store, I grabbed a cart.
"What are you getting?" My mom asked.
"Stuff for the puppies." I said.
We walked to the dog section. I found a bunch of stuff. Then, my mom got her items. Then, we checked out. Once we got home, I brought everything to my room. Snow was still sleeping by my nightstand. The boys were asleep on my bed. Shasta was laying on Jayy's chest. I put the cage together and placed the dog beds in various placed around my bedroom. I put the dog cage next to my closet door. I also placed the toys around the room. I cleaned the dog bowls out and put food and water in them. I just left the boys sleeping since they looked comfy.
