Chapter 4 <3

~A few months later~

I am so happy that it is summer. Snow and Shasta are now 8 months old. They're almost full grown. It's amazing how fast they grew. Jayy, Dahvie and I are really close. My father and I are getting there but I don't trust him. Right now, I'm laying in bed, Shasta and Snow are laying with me. They follow me everywhere. When I'm in the bathroom, they're there. If I go somewhere, they come with me. They love Jayy and Dahvie. But, whenever my father comes near me, they growl at him. They are very protective of Dahvie, Jayy and me. Oh and another thing, I started to develop feelings for Jayy. But, I doubt he likes me back. I sighed and stood up. Snow and Shasta jumped off the bed and followed me into the bathroom. I stripped down and hopped in the shower. They both laid down, watching the door. I did my thing and got out. I wrapped a towel around my body. Then, I got dressed. I did everything else too. When I was done, I walked downstairs. Snow and Shasta followed me. I sat in my spot. Jayy and Dahvie walked in and sat down. My mother was cooking the usual. My dad stood from the table. Shasta growled at him. He walked quickly out of the kitchen and out the door to work.

"Ash, guess what?" Dahvie said.

"Hmmm...You died and regenerated yourself?" I asked.

"Nope."

"I don't know." I said.

"We're going on tour." Dahvie said.

"Oh, cool." I said, saddened.

"No, Ashy, that's not what you think." Jayy said, using my nickname that only he can use.

"You, Dahvie and I are going on tour."

"WHAT!!!" I jumped up.

Shasta and Snow jumped up and growled, looking around.

"Wait, what about them?" I motioned to the dogs.

"They're coming with us." Dahvie said.

"Our tour manager said it was ok, just as long as when we're on stage, they stay in the bus." Jayy said.

"Yess!!!!" I said. "When do we leave?"

"At noon." Dahvie said.

I looked at him with wide eyes.

"We can help you pack. We already did." He said.

"How long is tour?" I asked.

"Well, there's different tours but we'll be touring for the next year or so." Jayy explained.

"And you're ok with this?" I asked, looking at my mom.

"You're an adult now. I can't stop you from doing whatever you want." She said sadly. 

I walked over and hugged her. After a couple minutes, I pulled away. I nodded to the boys and we walked upstairs to pack. I packed a bunch of stuff. Then, I grabbed a few things for the dogs. By the time we were done, it was 11:32. We grabbed my bags and walked downstairs. I could tell by the way my mother was standing that she didn't particularly like the fact the I was leaving her. I walked over to her.

"You ok, mom?" I asked.

She nodded but I could see tears forming in her eyes. I walked up and hugged her. She immediately started crying into my hug. I don't know how long we stayed like that but we were interrupted by Jayy.

"I don't mean to interrupt this but we kinda got to go." He said.

My mother pulled away from me and looked at me.

"Behave yourself and have fun." She said, kissing my cheek.

I nodded. Shasta and Snow walked over to me. I grabbed a couple of my bags and walked outside. There was a huge bus parked on the curb. Dahvie and Jayy were putting everything in the bus. I walked up to it. Jayy walked out and took the bags from my hands while Dahvie walked out.

"There are a few people I need to introduce you too. Make sure Snow and Shasta don't attack." He said.

I nodded and he grabbed my hand, leading me onto the bus. Snow and Shasta stayed bhind me. There were two guys and a girl I didn't recognize.

"Guys this is my sister, Ashlynn. Ash, this is Cody *made up*, Kellin *made up*, and Hailey *made up*." Dahvie introduced. I waved.

They all smiled at me.

"And these are my dogs, Snow and Shasta. Be careful, they might bite. The only really like Jayy, Dahvie and I."

Snow sat down behind me while Shasta walked up to them. She smelled them and wagged her tail. Kellin put his hand out and she sniffed it. Then, she licked it. Cody and Hailey did the same and got the same reaction.

"I think she likes you but still be careful." I said.

Jayy walked out from what I was guessing was the bunk alley.

"Who's bunking where?" Cody asked.

"Hailey gets her own bunk. Ash is bunking with Jayy. Cody and you get your own bunks and I call the room." Dahvie explained.

"O.o, Ashlynn and Jayy sitting-" Kellin was cut off.

"In a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G!" Cody sang.

I blushed and looked down. Hailey noticed and smiled at me while the Dahvie glared at Jayy and Cody and Kellin laughed. Snow and Shasta barked.  The bus started moving.

"And the tour begins!" Everyone yelled.

"Hey, Dahvie?" I asked.

"Yup."

"Where's Snow and Shasta gonna sleep?"I asked.

"Where ever, I guess."

"O.o can one sleep with me tonight?" Cody and Kellin asked.

"That's probably not a good idea seeing as they just met you. Wait a couple days." I said.

"Hahaha. Looks like Dahvie is the dog man tonight." Jayy laughed.

~Later on: 9:30 pm~

We were all really bored by the time the sun started to set. Hailey and Kellin already turned in for the night. Jayy, Cody, Dahvie and I were all up. Jayy was sitting on the couch. I was laying on it with my head in his lap and he was stroking my hair. Shasta and Snow were laying across my legs so I couldn't move. Dahvie and Cody were on the other couch. I had found out earlier that Cody and Kellin are twins. I thought it was cool. They also had another brother named Brad and he was the driver. Right now, he was driving to a rest stop so we could all rest for the night. Cody stood and walked to his bunk and turned in. Then, the bus stopped. Brad walked back to where we were and nodded to Dahvie before turning in himself. Dahvie got up, causing Snow and Shasta to jump off of my legs. I sighed in relief.

"Finally! Now I can feel my legs." I said standing up. Jayy stood up to. I walked into the bathroom and did my business and changed into my pj's. I walked out and Dahvie's door was closed I could hear voices.

"Do you have feelings for her?" I heard Dahvie asked.

"Yes, but I don't know if she feels the same for me." Another voice came. I sounded like Jayy's voice.

"Tell her how you feel, man. If she doesn't, you tried. If she does, go for it. Just don't hurt her. That's all I'm asking." Dahvie said. I smiled and stood outside the bathroom door. The door opened and Jayy walked out. He smiled at me and I smiled back. Dahvie smiled at me before closing the door again.

"I didn't know which bunk was which so I just waited for you." I said.

He nodded and pointed to the one ahead of me. I pulled the curtain to the side and climbed in. Jayy climbed in after me and closed the curtain. I laid down and faced him. He faced me and smiled.

"Umm..I kinda have something to tell you." Jayy started.

I nodded for him to go on.

He hesitated then said, "I..think I'm....falling in love with you."

I smiled at him. "That makes what I have to say easier. I think I'm falling in love with you too."

He smiled and kissed my cheek. I moved closer to him and snuggled into his chest. He wrapped his arms around me, pulling me closer. I looked up at him and smiled. He looked down and smiled back. He kissed my forehead and rested his head on mine. We fell asleep like that.
