The Black Flames of Chaos

Chapter 7

-Lucy pov-

After Natsu coming in last night, I kept on thinking about why Momma would do that.

I don't know if what Natsu is say is true, but if it is. . . . then why?

I sat on my bed unconsciously petting Toothless in my lap. I heard him pur when I scratched the side of his neck. I stare at the hairbrush that lays next to me on the bed.

Toothless looks at me when I stop scratching him.

He looked up at me and then he looked at the brush. He crawled out of my lap, and he walked to the brush. He tapped it with a paw, and he looked back at me. I smiled and grabbed brush.

I walked to my desk and sat it on my box that held my letters to Momma. Then I heard a thump, and turned and saw Natsu standing with a blue hairbrush in his hand. I raised a brow and he huffed while glaring.

He held the brush out to me, and I carefully took it from him. I saw Toothless glare at Natsu, and Natsu glared back. I sat down at my desk and brushed my hair. And when I turned around, I saw Natsu and Toothless on the bed.

Both of them glaring at each other, but Toothless is growling at him too. I sighed and I coughed, getting their attention. I held my arms out for Toothless, and Toothless flew into my arms. I turned to Natsu and saw him in the windowsill.

"See you at the guild." I say.

He jumps out without replying. I sigh and Toothless looks up at me. I smile at him and I help him sit on my shoulder.  He nuzzles my cheek and purrs lightly.  I giggle and I walk out of my apartment.

-Happy pov-

I flew to guild, knowing that Natsu was already there. I opened the door and flew towards the ceiling. I went to the dark corner of the rafters, and saw Natsu there. I sat down next to him and went into my human form.

"Natsu, where were you last night?" I ask.

"I was at Lucy's. I found out where to seal was." He said.

I look him in the eye. "Where?"

"Her hair brush.  It was her mother's." He glanced at the door when Lucy walked in.

I saw Toothless on her shoulder and I waved at them. Lucy waved back, and Toothless nodded his head. I look back at Natsu.

"Why her mother's hair brush?  Do you think that her mother put the seal on her?" I ask.

He shakes his head. "If she did then she must have done it for a reason. I don't think that the seal was only for Lucy's chaos to be contained."

I nod looking back at Lucy. "If it is for another reason, we will find out later. I'm guessing that you changed the hair brush and burned the original?"

He sighs, and I turn to him again. "She caught me about to burn her brush."

My eye's widen. And I look back at Lucy. I sniff the air and frown. "But the small amount of chaos on her is stronger." I say confused.

"I told her the truth. She managed to make me buy her a hair brush. And she said that she wouldn't use her mother's brush." He said while glaring in Lushi's direction.

I laugh. "She got you to do what she wanted you to do! Hahaa! I want to see that happen!" I say as I'm laughing.

He growls and I stop laughing, but the smile is still on my face.
"Shut up."

I smirk and look back at Lushi and I see Lisanna walk in. Lisanna looks around and see Lucy. She glares at Lushi and then she looks up at me and Natsu. She puts on a seductive face, and I shudder in disgust.

Natsu glares at her and she flinches. Lucy looks up at me and then looks at Toothless. Toothless nuzzles her cheek, and then he flys at me. I smile and open my arms. He crashes into me and I laugh.

We were good friends already, even if we just met. Natsu stares at me and Toothless, and Toothless ignores Natsu. Natsu tsks in annoyance, and Toothless licks my face. I laugh again, and I scratch the side of his neck.

He purrs and then we hear a cry of pain. We look down and we see Lucy in a fight stance, and she's holding her arm. I squint and notice that her arm is bleeding. I see Lisanna laugh at Lucy.

Toothless wiggles, trying to get out of my hold. I get up and fly down with Toothless.

-No one's pov-

Lucy glared at Lisanna,  and Lisanna looked at Lucy and smirked. Lisanna was in her take-over: tiger's form.

She bared her claws and then dashed toward Lucy. Lucy jumped out of the way, and then quickly ripped a part of her skirt. Then she tied it around her wounded arm. Lisanna turned and ran at Lucy again.

Happy and Toothless picked up Lucy and flew toward the rafters. Lisanna turned into a bird and flew after them. Lucy tsked and so did Happy.

Natsu just watched in his dark corner, but you could see a part of the wood he was holding, was breaking due to his grip that was tightening. Lucy grabbed Toothless's key and changed into her star dress: Night Fury form.

She sent Toothless back to the celestial world to make sure he got his energy back. Happy continued to fly around trying to get Lucy away from Lisanna. Lucy glanced back at Lisanna and saw that she was getting closer.

Happy felt something on his stomach, and he looked down and saw wing's growing out of Lucy's back. Lucy looked at Happy. "Let me go." She said.

Happy nodded and dropped her. Lucy was falling and then something unexpected happened. Something that came with a bang.

A big ass cannon ball went flying into the guild. Dust and dirt went flying into the air, making everyone go temporarily blind.
Everyone was coughing and calling out names, trying to make sure everyone was ok. But one person didn't reply, and everyone was scared and worried.

"Lucy! Where are you? Are you alright?" Said some people in the guild.

Outside you could hear people laughing. And on one person's shoulder was a unconscious body. Their head was bleeding and their body had bruises. Their golden hair flowing in the wind softly.

** Done! Sorry for the late update! I was sick and I couldn't figure out what to write. And just a few questions!

But I have news on my personal life! My old brother is coming back from his training in the army next Tuesday! And he will stay here for a few weeks, before he has to go to Hawaii, cause that is were he will be stationed for the next few months or so! So yay!
