"Mark hyung!" I said as I tapped Mark's shoulder. " I need some help. "

"With what donghyuk..?" He said sleepily.

"I like a girl..." I said with a flushed face. " I met her a few days ago in LA... "

"Hyukie likes someone????" He shot up like an arrow in shock. " who is she? "

"She's wonderful...I can't get her out of my head. So much so that I even started writing a poem." I showed him the airline napkin.

"Hmmmm this is more of a rap..." He said starting to tap his foot. "You can call me anytime...you know imma answer..." He whispered the lyrics while gently tapping his foot.

" So should we produce it for her? " I asked.

"I'm not gonna help you because this is personal. You need to do it." He gave it back to me. " good luck. " he went back to sleep.

I looked at my phone and saw that I had a text...it was from her. My heart skipped a beat as I read it. I had given her my number in secret and I was pretty proud of how sly it was myself. What happened was....

Flashback

"Hey!!!" I heard shouting. "What kinda clutz!!"

"I'm so sorry." The waitress said. " let me try to clean it off... " she took out a napkin.

"Whatever forget it..." The man walked out.

The girl let out a sigh and put her head down at a table as she was cleaning the table. Little did she know that the man was coming back and about to hit her.

"Not today sir!" I grabbed his wrist. " I suggest you walk right out of here right now...or you'll regret it. " I threatened.

The man jerked his hand back and walked out. Afterwards, I turned to see the waitress staring at me with wide eyes. She then gave me a smile. Before I walked out, I slipped my number under the check. I turned around to see if she got it, and she read it with a smile. She then took out her phone and added my number.

END Flashback

I smiled as the whole scene replayed in my head and texted back asking how she was. We had been texting since that day and I've had the best conversations with her. However, I miss her...I want to see her in person.

Donghyuk24: When will you come to korea? I'm not going back to LA for a while...

Alexi23: I can't...I really want to but I'm so busy with work and college. I also wouldn't be able to afford the trip.

Donghyuk23: I'll figure something out...I don't want to just text you. I want to see you and hug you.

Akexi24: I know as do I. I do have a question tho...

Alexi24: what will happen if we are found out?

I say in deep and nervous thought. To be completely honest, I would rather be with her than see her go because of my job.

Donghyuk23: don't worry about it. You're special...too special for me to let go.

Alexi24: You're too kind...😁

I smiled and then fell asleep. My dreams were filled of the day when I could see her again...

Time Skip

Today was the day when I was going to finally see alexis. It has been about 4 months since we first met and I'm about to surprise her. I also finished the rap. I, of course, had a bit of trouble rapping for the first time, but I got it. I had the CD in my hand and ready for her to receive.

"Alexis!" I shouted and waved.

" oh my gosh! " she shouted and ran towards me. "I missed you so much! What a surprise!"

" I have something for you... " I gave the CD to her.

She took me to her apartment and sat me down on the couch as she began to listen to the song I wrote for her.

Soon after...She had tears in her eyes. She was so touched that She cried.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

" I love you so much... " she ran into my arms and kissed me.

"You're so special..." I mumbled in her ear as I hugged her.
