The runaway

Zoey and Luna went home to change for a party. Zoey and Luna are getting ready for a party so they can clear there minds. Zoey opens her suit case to find a outfit for the party.

While Zoey was finishing up she hears yelling down stairs. It was a Luna but why. I go down stairs and I she her leaving with her boyfriend leaving this guy there. Zoey has to order a Uber. Zoey head to the party but on the ride there was silence. When they got there they got drinks and went to their friends. Zoey saw Cody on a couch so she went to go sit down with him. "Hey." "Hey. So why did you run off with the girl." "Well the girls name is Luna and it's complicated." "Ok then. I need to use the restroom be right back." Zoey noticed that Cody left his phone on the couch so she grabbed it and saw messages from someone. "Hmm what is he hiding?" I say to my self. Zoey was able to unlock his password on the third try. She went to messages and saw the texts. What she saw made her heart stop. It was like the world froze all around her when she read.
Spike:When are you going to tell her
Cody:idk
Spike:you are going to have to tell that your dad killed her dad sooner or later.
Spike:She has to know eventually
Spike:Hello?
Zoey rushes out side but she feels a arm grabs hers. She looks behind her and it's Cody. "Hey what's wrong why are you crying?" "WHY AM I CRYING!? IDK MAYBE ITS BECAUSE I JUST FOUND OUT MY BOYFRIENDS DAD KILLED MY DAD.!" "How do you know about that?" "So it is true. Don't ever talk to me again Cody." Zoey yanks her arm and runs away. Zoey goes to the house and packs her stuff and takes the car. Zoey is driving all the way back to Oregon.

Zoey is rushing as much as she can while tears roll down her check. Zoey didn't like talking about her dad she never mentioned him to anyone. Five hours later Zoey made it to her house. Zoey rushes outside and unlocks the door and runs into her dads office that hasn't been touched in years. First she has to figure out where the key is to his office. An hour later she finally found out where the key was and unlocks the door. Zoey hasn't been in that room ever since she last bothered him for ice cream when I was three before he went on a business trip for a week but he never came back. Zoey looks threw ever cabinet but found nothing but old files that are useless. "If were to hide a secret cabinet where would I be?" Zoey looks all over the place but the only place she hasn't checked was under his desk. Zoey reached down and felt something unusual. She felt a strong and she pulled on it and stuff came out. She grabbed the files and then saw information that she thought she would never see in her entire life. She saw news reports of a gang killed five men in the past mouth. She saw a... leather jacket with the words north side... She could not believe that her dad was in a gang. "Maybe this is a lead to his death." Zoey found a address paper. On the top of the list it said The Reliant One so she took the files and went to that address. Zoey looked at her phone and saw 10 miss calls from mom 20 messages from Lilly 15 messages from mom and 8 miss calls from Michael. "Sorry guys but my phone is now off."

Zoey pulls up to the location and sees its s BIG house. "Wow. This is one big house." Zoey knocks on the door. As she waits for the door she sits on the swig bench they have trying not to fall asleep. She saw the door open and who she saw open the door was shocking. "Umm hi." "Uh hi what you doing here?" "Well am Zoey from early and I wanted to ask you something but I don't know your name you never told us your name." "Oh well my name is Ace and what's up?" "I know it might sound crazy because I know we just met but I think our dads know each other." "Uhh like how tho." "So you see my dad kinda uh dad when I was a kid so I went in his office and I found this paper that has addresses on it and I followed the top address which is here so.." "Uhhh. What's your full name?" "Zoey Gomez why?" "This makes sense." "What why and how?" "So my dad was best friends with a man named Miguel Gomez but killed when his daughter was three. So how old were you when he died?" "Three...." "So your dad mist have been friends with my dad." "Ok so how do you know about my dad?" "It's complicated." "Ok so the next address on the paper say enemy's hide out. You down to go with me? If that's ok with you." "Am So down." "Ok let's go." Zoey and Ace rush to the car and they put in the address. "So how are you and Luna?" "Good. How are you and Cody?" "We are done." I say trying not to cry. "Oh am sorry what happened?" "Well let's just say he is the reason why I know who killed my father." "What the heck he was killed? My dad thought he committed suicide it was even on the newspapers." "Well I guess they made it look like a suicide." "I wonder who killed him and why." "Well I know who killed him but not why." "Who killed him?" "Cody's dad." "Oh gosh am so sorry is that why you guys aren't dating anymore?" "Ya. So what do you think is at the "enemies hide out" because I am curious." "Same."

Hours later they finally reached the destination but it was in the middle of no where. "This is it I guess." "Yup. You ready to find out what happened to your dad?" "Ready as I will ever be."
