I read this book when I was in need of relaxing and peaceful mind. Something more laid-back and funny. Austen and Fay relationship was like another level of friend-zone. Hahaha. Austen has fallen in love with Fay for a long long time. I don't know maybe for years.
Fay was oblivious of his feelings. Maybe because Austen didn't dare to make a move on her and afraid it might be ruin their relationship. Things change when your nerdy bff is not nerdy anymore. (I'm so into nerd guys) Austen couldn't keep his old act and wanting Fay to accept his new identity and a real him.
Rocky relationship in the air and new people getting in the way. Maybe, they can't be friends anymore or maybe friends label is not for them?
