It is a short story that written in 3rd POV. Usually I will avoid at any cost to read that kind of 3rd POV in writing. But after I read the 1st chapter, I got hooked on it right away. It has blown me away.
Metilda knew about John's relationship with another woman and she did everything she could, to hide this from their son. Wow, she was a strong amazing woman. I am almost crying when her son asked where his father was and when he talked to John about his nightmare one night.
I perfectly aware of some people might hate Metilda to not give her little time with John. I do understand her position she was in. It won't be the same when you have a kid. Your responsibility and commitment have shifted a bit, this is when communication is important in a relationship.
The author has given me a hope, a hope that everything is possible to be fixed on any kind of relationship. Even things seems hopeless. Do not give it up yet.
