Third POV:
"Has anyone realised Chan, Seungmin and Jeongin aren't here yet?" Jisung questioned loudly over the top of the noise in the cafeteria, looking up from his very 'appealing' pizza to face his five friends. It looked old, the toppings were dry, the sauce disappeared, the crust almost reminded him of biting into pebble when he was younger, but despite all that he eats happily. Who could blame him, he's been starving since this morning.
"Oh yeah." Felix says surprised, his head turned left to right, trying to look for said missing members. He looked towards the canteen, then towards the entrance of the cafeteria. No where to be spotted.
"Where could they be..?" Hyunjin asked frowning, worried for the whereabouts of his friends. Hyunjin had been the only one to watch time fly by during lunch poking his fork into the spaghetti, wondering when on earth the three would arrived. It's been twenty five minutes since period two ended, and since lunch started.
"Don't be sad Hyunjin, I'm sure they're just doing errands for a teacher." Minho suggests, putting down his fork to awkwardly comfort the younger, patting his back, though it felt more like slapping, and this has Jisung chuckling.
"Errands for the same teacher? Chan is older than them!" Hyunjin groans in frustration. He scratches at his black hair and sighs. If Minho happened to be right, that would be unfair, seeing as lunch was the only time they get to have free time to be able to eat and replenish their energy for the next periods. A teacher can't use their time like that for something they could do themselves. Not only that, but the thought of his two boyfriends with Chan makes him feel sorta sick.
He grabs his soft bunny keychain from his pocket and fiddles around with it. Hyunjin, Seungmin and Jeongin all had the same keychain as each other from an amusement park, it meant a lot to him, all of them. It had been from one of their beginning dates, and Hyunjin just feels as if the keychain brings him luck, and love, so he brings it everywhere with him, so do the other two.
"Are you jealous or something??" Changbin asks with a grin. He takes a bite of his pizza, feeding some to the only present Australian, who sat beside him. Hyunjin groaned for what seemed like the hundredth time and glares daggers into the boy who sat in front of him with a sharp jaw that can cut, otherwise known as Changbin.
"No. Why would I be jealous??" His eyebrows furrowed and he pushed his plate of cold spaghetti away. The sight sickened him now, and he feels like gagging at the thought of consuming it. Even looking at it makes him want to retch.
"I don't know, maybe because Chan used to-" Changbin starts, but Felix punching his arm makes him pause. The weak punch wasn't what necessarily surprises him to stop, but more so the fact that maybe he was pressing into a sensitive subject. Or that their new friend who seemed to bond really well with Chan was sitting right there.
"Chan used to what?" Woojin asked curiously. Woojin was new to the friend group and had only joined a few weeks ago, but he was able to be comfortable and fit in with them perfectly fine. The perks of being a caring, chicken loving person and joining a chaotic friendly group.
The others look at Changbin with an long stare, a little annoyed he had to bring that up."No it's fine, I won't tell anyone.. I won't judge..you can trust me." Woojin smiled brightly, taking a bite of his chicken nuggets. He can't lie though, he couldn't help but feel a little bitter, which he has no right to, as he wasn't there at the time this secret seemed to happen. Woojin disguises this with a smile, and everyone on the table easily buy it. Hyunjin sighs, and Minho went to go speak.
"Chan used to like Jeongin, and so Hyunjin got angry and I guess Chan understood and stopped liking Jeongin..Thinking of it now, that's a bit rude of you Hyunjin." Minho looks at Hyunjin seriously, realisation on the matter coming to him. Minho never dwelled on the problem in the past, seeing as it wasn't his place. But recalling on it now has him realising that maybe Hyunjin was too harsh.
"Are you serious? How can he like another person that is taken and he knows it? Jeongin is taken by two guys and yet Chan lets his feelings get the best of him and starts to like him? Stupid..." Hyunjin shook his head, eyebrows furrowed and cruel words spilling from his mouth. Others wince at his choice of ranting, whilst Woojin just stays silent during the whole ordeal, thinking to himself and taking it in.
"Ok we know how you're feeling, but it's been like more than ten minutes and am I the only one who realised we haven't gotten a text from them at all?" Jisung questions again, trying to change the topic from the sensitive matter, but to also try find out where the three are. His pizza was long gone ages ago, as soon as Felix replied to him earlier. The taste wasn't as bad as it looked, thankfully.
"We can all split up and try find them. It's nearly end of lunch anyways, so when the bell rings we would've probably found them already and we'd go return to class." Felix shrugged and stood up. He stretched his sore limbs, then tidied up the table and threw everyone's scraps away. It was his turn for that duty after all.
"Sure thing." The rest got up and split, Changbin with Felix, Minho with Jisung and Hyunjin with Woojin.
