Once school ends, Woojin rushes out to his locker. He puts away his stuff, and steals a glance at Seungmin's locker that is a few lockers away from his. He sees a red rubber band on the door. Woojin shudders, how sickening it must be. He mentally thanked Changbin, for actually thinking to close it. If someone else beside the friends saw what was inside, hell would probably break loose. What if the teachers thought that Seungmin put an arm their by himself?
He runs out of the school, not without getting scolded by passing teachers. He runs and stands under a tree, fishing out his phone from his pocket to do something he's been meaning to do the whole day. He presses one of the first contacts that show up, and puts his phone to his ear.
"Hello..?" Hyunjin answers groggily. Woojin assumes he just woke up from the way he spoke, and the tone of voice. But would Hyunjin just really stay home and sleep after his three friends went missing? Woojin assumed he would of been the type to be up and about, especially with how rowdy he was yesterday.
"Hyunjin, how come you weren't at school today??"
"I'm sorry, it's just..." Hyunjin sighs.
"...It's okay I understand...Are you at home? Want me to come over and bring ice cream??" Woojin asks. Maybe Hyunjin just wanted time to himself, it was understandable. He watches as a horde of people exit the school front doors.
"No it's okay...I'm at Seungmin and Jeongin's apartment..."
"...Is there any news...?" Woojin questions, biting on his nails out of habit. So Jeongin and Seungmin weren't even at their own apartment? Where could they be? It's been more than a day, and Woojin thinks of resorting to the police, but he knew it wasn't plausible, especially since they haven't tried all options of trying to find the three.
"Nothing..but I found a note on their pillow. It said the same thing that was inside Seungmin's locker. Also the door was unlocked when I got there" Hyunjin replies, a shaky sigh leaving him as he recalls his emotions when entering the apartment, to finding the unusual item.
"Oh ok....What do you want to do..?"
"Can we...can we go to your house or something..? Like all of us so we can discuss this and for future plans..I mean we don't have to do it at your house..." Hyunjin suggests, going quieter at his last sentence. It wasn't his house, he just didn't want to organise something without Woojin's permission.
"Sure sure, no problem! Let me text the others. See you at my house okay Hyunjin? Stay safe." Woojin says reassuringly. He doesn't hang up until he hears Hyunjin reply with a yes.
Woojin texts the others on their shared group chat, then pockets his phone. He walks rapidly, and soon enough he made it home. He waits for everyone to arrive with bouncing legs. In ten minutes everyone is sitting down in Woojin's lounge.
"Did you guys find anything..?" Felix asks, frequently changing position on the couch out of nervousness. "Yes." Hyunjin and Minho reply in unison, eager to spill their findings.
"That's good..." Changbin nods, a small smile on his face.
"I'll go first. The day before yesterday Seungmin, Jisung and I were studying together in my room. When I came home from school yesterday I found Seungmin's schedule for yesterday on my study. He would of been at sport before lunch and after lunch he would of been at history." Minho explains and grabs Seungmin's schedule from his backpack.
"Ok..that helps. Now we know where all of them would of been before lunch." Felix states, happy they were getting somewhere.
"I went to Seungmin and Jeongin's apartment today.." Hyunjin starts. "So that's why you weren't at school...Anyways continue." Jisung interrupts, before smiling sheepishly after Minho nudges him.
"Their apartment was fine...besides the fact that the door wasn't locked, the curtains were open and that there was a note on their pillow that said the same thing in Seungmin's locker." He continues, mentioning how the same words were brought up. He looked worn out and miserable, everyone did.
"What's going on..." Changbin sighs rubbing his temple, looking down.
"There isn't much news on Chan though..." Minho realises. Woojin gets his phone out and tries to ring the missing members, but to no avail the results were the same as their previous attempt. There was no response.
"Maybe we can go see their parents. Or go to school and ask if they even went to school that day, or if they happened to go home early.." Woojin proposed, clicking his fingers at his newfound idea.
"We don't know where their parents live, or their phone numbers.." Felix groans dejectedly.
"Tomorrow at school I'll go ask..For now, we have to find more clues."
