A/N: Okay so I'm gonna start writing in au's (alternate universes) more because I like writing in au's a lot. It's just easier for me to think of ideas qwq. So, in this au they're basically normal kids, and I know Shiro and Allura are like 25, but they're gonna be students. Shiro is going to be on the student council because I didn't want to make him like, the principal or something lol. So, Coran is a teacher, and the rest of the teachers names are made up. Enjoy! (Btw, they're all 16 in this au, besides Hunk, Lance, Keith, and Shiro. They're 17. And, Katies hair is long/ longer in this story.)

Keith's POV
It was an ordinary day in Mr. Smythe's class. We only had 2 more classes left in the day, so everyone was tired and ready to go home. Paper airplanes were soaring past desks, students were sitting on the tables gossiping. I was the only one-minus the few well behaved kids-that was actually sitting normally in my desk. We never really learn anything in his class, we just do whatever. "Okay class, settle down now! We have a new student, she just moved here, so I'm expecting you all to give her a warm welcome!" Mr. Smythe shouted over the noise. Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at him, as he turned to face the door.
"Come in, come up here! Introduce yourself!" Mr. Smythe (That's Coran's last name, I looked it up cOuGh) shouted through the door to our classroom. The door opened and a girl, who looked about 12 for her height, walked in. Her honey brown hair was braided back in two pigtails that ran down her back, and she wore a shirt (tucked into her shorts) that said, 'I don't believe in humans' with an alien head in the middle of the words, jean shorts, and white NASA converse.
