We sat at the kitchen while mom prepares to bake her cookies. She didn't want them to be cold and I wouldn't agree more. In this family, we like to keep our cookies warm.

"Lucius. Welcome to our humble home!" mom said. Dad and I looked at each other, mom looked hysterical.

"Mom! You just said it three times!" I whispered to her and she looked at me nervously, "I did?" she whispered back.

"It's okay" Lucius spoke. Wow, he has a deep voice. "Catherine's really...welcoming" he added. Such beautiful accent.

"Helena, honey. While I bake the cookies, could you tour Lucius around the house please?" mom asked and I felt very delighted until dad took the job.

"Actually, Gordon. Let Helena do it! I have things to discuss with you" my mom insisted and she looked at dad like he's in trouble.

Dad rolled his eyes as he pushed me over to Lucius. I almost stumbled at him but luckily he caught me and helped me steady up. Why did dad had to do that?!

"I'm sorry about that" I said nervously. I'd like to tour him around the house but I rather have this silly idea of touring a sick boy around the town. I hope I'm not getting in trouble for this.

"It's fine but where are we going?" Lucius asked as he noticed we were heading towards the fences at our backyard.

"Town? I mean, our house is not that big for a grand tour" I said nervously and he started to chuckle. I wasn't expecting he'd find it funny.

"Thank you for that offer but I want to stay here" he said sternly, "I mean, I'm not being rude or anything-."

"It's okay!" I interrupted, "Actually, I should be sorry. I forgot you were here for the treatment"

"Yeah that" he uttered. Suddenly his expression changed.

"D-did I upset you?" I asked, my heart's beating twice faster than it did earlier. "I...I'm-."

"No, you didn't do anything Helena but you seem like a talkative girl. I'd like to let you know I might not meet your expectations" he said, "I don't like talking" he added.

I see. He's upset I'm touring him around the town, how would he know I want to talk anyways?  "Well, do you like talking to dad?" I asked, making it sound as cheerful as I could.

Lucius walked towards the tire swing dad made for me and sat, "He is my psychiatrist" he answered.

"So you tell him everything" I uttered and he nodded, "He knows who I am" he said.

I swallowed as I crossed my arm and stood in front of him, "What about you?" he asked and my eyebrows furrowed.

"What about me?" I asked back and his eyes focused on me. "Do you tell Gordon everything?" he asked.

"Well, just like you...he knows who I am too but we don't get to talk that much, he is very workaholic." I said. It used to hurt me that dad didn't have so much time on me but now I understand him, I did after Desiree.

"Actually, I...let me take you to your room" I said after a brief, awkward silence. Lucius followed me inside the house up until we're on his room. He went in first and he looked quiet satisfied.

"It was nice" he said as he looks around, "Where do you sleep?" he asked.

"I sleep on the basement" I replied and he looked somewhat startled, "Why are you sleeping on the basement?" he asked.

"Don't worry about me. It'll only be good until you recover" I teased and Lucius looked at me with a small smile. "So this used to be your room?" he asked and I nodded.
