Something Between Us

Chapter 1

Croysrt Hospital, New York
12:00 am.

At the operation theatre , my eyes were feeling so sleepy. The doctor told me that there has been an emergency one arrived.

Denver was the 1st one to notice that I am feeling sleepy .

For waking me, he hit his arm to mine . He gives me look that do this job .

I share a look to him that okay I do .

I was finding the bullet inside of army man .

The doctors were surrounded the bed . The report says that the man had been shot in the body and his ankle is broken . He had 15 bruises in all around his body. I think the other doctors will do it .

I don't that what is his name . In my heart says that it is Bobby or Jack or Barry . His face is so familiar .

I think I have seen him in the newspapers .

God, he is so handsome .

I know that being as a doctor ,hates blood which they throw up or faint .Well I am not type of girl you are looking for.

"The blood is thicker than water " advices my grandma Susan which is my mom's mother .

That is true .

Before she passed away leaving me and my brother alone.
Thinking of her, makes my heart beat rapidly.

" Bingo ,I think I found the wound " said I said to the doctor . I know what you are thinking , a woman who is well trained in the medical field .I get a lot of cute guys from any field .That why I chose this profession.

I love it .

Anyway where was I , the bullet.

Oh yeah the bullet is located at the side of his body . The blood is all over the spot . Denver holds a cotton which is covered with blood . He wipe the blood which coming out of it.

Another nurse hand over pair of scciors to me and take out the bullet.

I took out the bullet which is coated with blood and drop it in the silver plate. Then I take the thread and start stitching the wound. His face is covered with white bandage.

Then I finished stitching the wound.
My eyes went weak, then I shake my head off to drive off the weariness in eyes.

"Now the ankle part of his left leg
O-ray of ankle? "said I to Denver who was my brother .

He raise his eyebrow at me.

He said " I deal with the ankle injury, Sparks . Now you go and take the leave . I think you are feeling sleepy .
After the operation , we will talk to The Army Officer ."

I nodded at him.

I take step back from the crowd and take my leave .

There was nearby wash base bin and walk toward it . I remove the bloody plastic gloves and threw in the bin .

I opened the tap and water flowed. I wash my hands .

I heard that my brother is cutest doctor and also hot when other girls want to see his abs. The other girls I meant is the nurses and doctors .

He always workout everyday. One time he tell me that I should do workout.
I told him that workout is not my cup of tea.

Only thing that makes me sad about my parnets .

Since they have died in car accident which told my grandma. Why did they die? My grandma told me that there will be answers when I and Denver growing in adult stage. She got cancer and left me and my brother when we are 20 .

That when I and my brother join this
hospital . We worked for 4 years in this hospital .

I took a chair and sat down . I closed my eyes and dream about my mom and dad .
I wish that they will be proud that me and brother is successful doctors in New York .

Someone shakes me and I open my eyes .

I see Denver standing beside me .

" The operation is over Sparks . Come on let meet his associate ."
