Something Between Us

Chapter 7

Halsye  Hunt is familer to me. She is some stripper in the  night club but I guess that she quit her job  year ago due to  she hasn't got any money to pay debts.

Now she is a model now in Aldo and Pantnee.  She is pretty and sweet  .

She has helped poor people for the foster kids from orphanage.

According  to Davis , for him , She is one of the kind . And that what he told
me .

"Halsye Hunt " said he.

" Oh that model .Well about her?  "

He pressed his lips again! and hesitated for the moment.

Then he spoke " At 29th of November ,I having a  date with her  in Royal Space which is tradional  hotel . So I want you to there if anything goes wrong . Plus You have gone few dates  than me . You got some experience  from those . "

Yeah talk about  dates . I had few dates back from collage . The worst  I had but they left me . Yet they are my exfriends .

"You can  join in and signal to me for saying  good thing about her ."

" okay , Davis . I do I can " I promised 

He put his hands on back and hug me .

My eyes go wide because he is hugging  me in the hosptial. 

He release  me and my cheeks were flushed .

He simle and I smile because  he is my friend. 

Then behind my back I hear footsteps which making a very sharp noise of her  sneakers.

It is Carmen along with a  nurse who is holding a clipboard.   I think she see  going to the other patient .

Funny that his family didn't come to visit him .

She got suripised she see  me hugging Davis .

"I find that 2 lovebirds  are in love ." mockingly Carmen. She is standing next to me. 

"We are not " said I feeling like punch her  but I didn't.

She just smiled .

" Oh I  leave now and check that patient which lays on Room 45 " said she .

" I guess I should go now " said I  to Davis and Carmen .He is standing beside me shoulder level .

Then without saying anything , She pushed the door and her eyes go wide . Her mouth drops open .

God knows  why she starring at.

I walk her back.

" Carmen are you okay ? " asked I

She turned her back and her face was flushed , her cheek were pink in colour .

" For the love of God , that is my brother Derek De Alovo. ".

She entered the room and ran toward him. 
I expect she is going hug him but she didn't  .

Carmen found his brother . I felt happy for her yet I have unanswered questions  from the army man.

Davis just entered the room and saw Carmen with the patient

" What happened  to Carmen ? " whisper He.

" Well she found her brother this morning "

" Oh " said he  " I don't how the  patient had sister ..... "

" His Name ......"

" His name is Derek De Alovo " said I

" Right Derek ."

"Will  he react to this reunion of his family " 

"Why? "

" Because I know him"

" How ?"

"High school , 7 years from there . "

I had no word to say .

" Can you tell her not call her parents that she found her brother this morning  okay ,?"said I ,placing a smile on my face .

He think about it and nodded

" you have my word , but why Sparks ?

" There are unanswered questions for this patient. "

I turned my face and saw Carmen was looking at his face.  His face  was calm and peaceful .

I hope he will wake  up tomorrow  when I am  there  in his room .

All I see is that she bent  her back and whrisper  something to his ear .

It is like Lois Lane  bent her back to Clark Kent' s ear whisper while he is in coma . Expect only Carmen is his sister .
but said " What happen to him ? "

It   was  my turn give her answer.

I pressed my lips .

" Well he was shot and ankle injury was there.  I remove the bullet and Denver wrapped his left ankle . "

The room was silent expect the heart  monitor .

She looked at us.

She said "I want you guys to  take him  but  I don't how my dad will react to this ."

But I have no idea  how to tell his sister is standing front of him . I hope Derek De Alovo   won't like the reunion with his family .

I don't know  what to do right . I am standing with Davis . 

I want  to go home right now .
