My worst thoughts wouldn't let me see where I was going. *they have kissed* *he is in love with her* *he has been lying to me* *my first kiss had been completely fake* ....
Finally I was out of the crowd and someone grabbed my hand.
'Why are you trying to scape from your problems?'
Sammy The High Philosopher had followed me.
'It's has nothing to do with you, leave me alone.' I tried to walk but he was still holding my hand.
'Oh come on, tell Uncle Sam what's wrong...' He insisted.
'Oh... Fine.' I rolled my eyes.
We sat on a couch, away from the other people.
'Wanna make out?' He said.
'What?' I shouted.
'Oh sorry, we came here to talk about your problems, I forgot' he laughed.
'Okay, I'm leaving' I stood up.
'Oh come on! I'm sorry! Please don't go!' He shouted.
I turned back and I saw his adorable puppy face.
'I'll be a good boy...' He said.
Damn. That irresistible look.
'Okay...' I sat back.
'Gurl, what's wrong?' He asked.
'Love stories... Do you know if Cam has some kind of relationship with Savannah?' I said.
'What? With the chihuahua?' He laughed. 'Hell no... No... No way...' He was still smiling.
'I though only Gilinsky and Johnson called her that way...'
'Yeah, they don't know I was listening too.'
'Listening what?'
'I'll tell you another day.' He said while he was taking some rolling paper.
We remained in silence for a moment.
'Sam... What is it like to be high?' I asked hoping he wouldn't remember it the following day.
He looked at me, daring, and then he glanced back at the paper.
'It's hard to describe. I guess it can be best related as a wonderful warm fuzzy feeling throughout your body, slowly coursing from head to toe. you can feel.. seriously.. everything in your body just like.. buzzing with intense warm heat. And you feel so relaxed. You feel like a big wet noodle. Well, a semi-wet noodle. One that hasn't been.. well... fully wettnened.. fuck if I know.. but yeah. There ya go.'
That was Sammy philosophising. At least he seemed happy. He finally had his joint.
'Can I... Can I smoke?' I said.
'You refused 10 minutes ago!' He lighted it and smoked. 'Oh this is good shit... I ain't gonna deny you this pleasure.' He said giving it to me.
I placed it between my fingers and I looked at it.
'But I will.' Gilinsky appeared out of nowhere. He stole me the joint and smoked. He had his shirt unbuttoned. Damn, he was hot.
'Why you can smoke but I cannot, huh?' I complained.
'Cause you are under 18.' He said.
'Not for too long. And neither you are!!' I remember Nash told me he wasn't 18 yet.
'When is your birthday?' He asked.
'Soon. Don't change the topic of the conversation!' I replied.
'How soon?' Gilinsky insisted.
'Very soon. Come on! I just wanna forget this shitty night! Or at least have a good and weedy memory.' I said.
'You ain't gonna smoke.' He gave the joint to Sam. 'Cam asked for you.' Gilinsky sat beside me.
'Tell him he can forget about me. He has spent the whole night with her.' I said angry.
'Oh come on Mae! I'm sure that bitch has been manipulating him all night. He asked for you as soon as he had the chance. He is worried.' Jack was trying to calm me down.
'I don't know... He told me he would be by my side all night...* I'll take care of you.* He said.' I couldn't get that off my mind.
'So why don't you claim for what is yours?' Sam suggested.
'I like the way you think when you are high, my friend.' I said.
'That's it! Please do it! I would love to see how Savannah cries.' Gilinsky laughed.
'Can I smoke before?' I tried to do a puppy face clumsily.
'One day I will let you, but not tonight.' Gilinsky looked at me in the eyes.
'Okay.' I said giving up.
'Okay, let's go!' He cheered me up.
*Cameron's POV*
'Dude, have you seen Mae?' I asked Nash.
'He was here like... 15 minutes ago. I don't know where might she be now. Sorry, bro.' He said and kept dancing with all the models.
'Hey Cammy! Come on dance with mee!' Savannah begged.
Damn. She was like a koala and I was like a tree, cause she didn't wanna get the fuck out of me.
She said to me that Mae should want some space to be with the other guys, so I had to let her time for herself, but I really missed her. I hadn't talked with her since we were with Bryant. I was really pissed off.
'I don't wanna dance, Savannah.' I said quite sad. I didn't want to disappoint her, tho.
'Oh. Do you wanna find that girl? Ok. Come on. I saw her going downstairs.' She snapped.
'Really? Let's go!' Thank God someone knew where Mae was.
We went downstairs. The highest floors were full of rooms booked by the other viners. Some of them lived far away and needed to sleep here and other ones just needed a bed in case they were lucky.
'Are you sure she is here?' I asked.
'Absolutely. I saw her with the other boy, the one with the blue tie.' Savannah said.
*Mae was with Sam?* I thought.
She was holding my hand to guide me. Every thing was dark. I heard someone walking and laughing behind us. I bet they were some drunk guys.
'I heard Nash saying something about the room 167. It's on this floor.' She said.
'Really? Come on! I need to find her!' I was afraid Mae should have gone to bed with Sam.
'Here it is!' I said after walking during 2 minutes.
'Let me is if the door is opened' Savannah tried to open the door. It was unlocked.
I walked in first to see if Mae was really there. My heart was beating faster in every step I made, I wished she hadn't undressed yet.
There was no one there.
'Savannah...' I saw her walking in and shutting the door.
'Finally we are alone.' She said walking towards me.
'What's going on?' I asked confused.
'We are gonna end what we started a year ago.' She came closer to me.
