CHAPTER 30!

After 20 minutes of walking among the people and talking to a couple viners that were just interested in my booty, I sat down on an empty leather coach. I took a large sip of my almost empty glass and looked at the dark sky.

There were too much stars to be counted, but I felt like I had to enumerate them. They were too shiny to be left up there in the cold, so I decided to notice ever single one of them. Millions and millions of fire stones...

Damn, I was drunk.

'Counting stars?' Nash sat beside me.

He had his shirt unbuttoned, showing his amazing abdominals.

'Every single one of them. Wanna join?' I said looking back to the sky.

'No... Not really... Are you drunk?' He asked.

'Aren't you?' I replied.

We both laughed and knew that the answer was 'yes'.

'Twenty two, twenty three...' I whispered.

'Want another round? I'm done with my vodka.' Nash said.

I heard 'another round' and I immediately gave a shit about how many stars were in the sky.

'What are you waiting for?' I stood up and he followed me to the bar.

I could walk perfectly well. The alcohol had just taken control of my thoughts, not my acts. Yet.

We arrived at the bar and I saw Johnson with his couple.

'Hi!' I said.

'Hey! I haven't seen you during all the party! Where have you been?' Johnson said.

'Walking around'

'And Cam?'

'I dunno...' My smile disappeared.

'Oh... It's true, he is with the chihuahua.' He placed his hand on my shoulder for a second.

'Do you all call her 'chihuahua'?' I asked.

'No, just Gilinsky and I. I'll tell you why another day.'

'Okay.' I said.

'Vladimir! I want some vodka please!' He shouted to the barman.

'We run out of vodka, dude! I'm sorry!' Vladimir The Barman replied.

'WHAT DO YOU MEAN NO VODKA?' Johnson shouted angrily.

'What? There is no vodka? I wanted 'Sex on the beach!' Nash joined the conversation.

'You always want 'Sex on the beach'!' Johnson said.

That moment was epic. Two drunk weirdos shouting disappointed cause there was no vodka. Lovely.

'Can I have another big glass of rum with coke?' I asked to Vladimir.

'Sure!' He said.

'Two!' Johnson joined.

'Three!' Nash also did.

'Four!'

I didn't expect that.

It was Sammy. His eyes were red and the smell of weed was following him everywhere.

'Are you high, dude?' I said.

He laughed and looked at his hands. He wouldn't answer my question but I assumed that meant 'yes, a lot. I don't even know where I am'.

'Hey Mae!' He shouted although he was right beside me.

'Sup?' I said.

'Wanna dance?' He was looking directly at my eyes but I bet he couldn't see me.

'No... Not really' I answered.

'Oh... Me.. Me neither.' He said.

That made me laugh. The High Sammy was pretty funny.

'Here you've got!'

Vladimir placed four glasses of my favourite drink on the bar.

'Thank you!' We all said at the same time.

'One for all!' Johnson raised his glass.

'All for one!' Nash did the same.

We all raised our glass and drank.

As we walked to the disco zone, Sam offered me some weed, but I refused. Maybe that meant that I wasn't too drunk.

'Goddammit! IT'S LIPGLOSS!!!' I shouted like a crazy fangirl.

'What?' Johnson said.

'SHHHT! LISTEN!!!' I hushed him.

The song was louder and louder every time.

*It's poppin, it's poppin, it's poppin, let's go!*

We all jumped at the same time. I was surprised no one fell down.

We kept jumping to the beat and everyone around was looking at us just like if we were crazy or something.

'IT'S MY FUCKING JAM!' Nash shouted.

'AND MIIINE!' Yoshi appeared out of nowhere and jumped with us.

I felt like I was one of them. Like I found my place in the world. Everything around me was moving slo-mo.

I saw Gilinsky and the cute shy girl coming towards me.

'Hey!' Jack said to me and they also jumped.

All the freaking crowd was staring at us. Eight weirdos jumping like idiots. I just loved that.

That was the best way of keeping my mind away from Cam. Shit. Cam. I saw him holding hands with that red bullshit and walking towards us.

Cam looked at me in the eyes when he was quite far. Then I realised that alcohol was a depressing. I wasn't having fun anymore. Fear, anger, sadness and alcohol.

I pushed Sam and I walked away.
