It's been days since the fall of Salem you and the rest of the team are visiting mistral again.

You: (looks at ruby)

Ruby: what's up (y/n)

You look forward at a weapon shop.

You: umm I'm going in there bye

You quickly walk to the shop and start looking at weapons.

Yang: he likes you ruby

Ruby: (giggles at what yang said) no he doesn't

Yang: I see the way he looks at you and how you look at him

She said this with a smirk on her face as you walk behind them listening.

Yang: plus I hear you in your sleep

Ruby: What!!!

Ruby covers her face with her hood as she blushes with yang laughing.

You: hi guys

You say as you walk up to them.

Ruby: oh hi (y/n)

Yang smirked and left you two alone after Yang patted ruby on the back almost knocking her down.

You: well I'm going to get some food you want to join me ruby

Ruby blushes as she responds

Ruby: umm yeah sure

You: yes... I mean umm ok let's go

Ruby: ok

You spot a noodle shop

You: how about there (points to noodle shop)

Ruby: ok

You both walk in to the shop

(Ruby's pov)

I walked in to the shop with him and tried to hide my blushing.

Ruby: so (y/n) is this a date or hanging out

He started to blush when I said that.

You: well if you want it could be a date that was my intention

I could feel I was blushing a lot now.

Ruby: yes... I mean ok
