"Excuse me?" Eva said perplexed keeping her coffee down.

"Dates, simple dates, to give you an idea about love and romance" Adam said in a dead tone.

Adam has never seen going any female as confused as Eva before, her eyebrows were ready to shoot up to sky, eyes wide, and he don't blame her, because he had shocked himself too.

A date, thirty Dates? From which hell corner did this idea popped in his brain, is his mind even working with him or all his senses have dived right into the hell, where this idea came from.

"What? And what will that make any difference? If we even try to test this obnoxious idea?" Eva half amused half concerned.

Adam's brain wire were all burned out he no longer trusted his senses to answer logically, he was saying and doing things he sweared he wouldn't do, not again, not in this lifetime.

"We date, go on dates, I give you a fairy tale experience, introduce you to dreamy hypothetical world all fools believe in as "love" and you like a diligent student take notes and write me a sappy romantic kick ass love story" Adam said without thinking straight.

"Hypothetical dreamy world, interesting" Eva mused.

"It's purely cooked on juvenile silly theories, no offense" Adam said with what he believes.

"None taken, but with all your ideas, you seem more juvenile than love, no offense" Eva laughed collecting her purse, time to end this crazy meeting.

"None taken, are you ready to leave again?" Adam asked feeling agitated with her play off cool attitude, she doesn't seem serious or passionate enough, he had his thoughts lose again.

"It's time we say farewell Mister Miller" Eva concluded and stood up.

"For a rookie writer like you, you sure seem have lot of attitude Miss Martin, you think I don't know about your futile experience with your book?" Adam said meeting her eyes.

"I gave you a opportunity, on a golden platter, you dint once but twice rejected it, I must say I'm impressed with your half-witted decision" Adam continued his jab.

"I simply don't see a need to entertain your inarticulate ridiculous ideas or even desperate enough to consider it" Eva smiled sweetly.

For a lunatic like Adam, Eva was very proud of herself she wasn't losing her calm easily. Perhaps, advantage of being rejected oftent.

"What's there to lose? All you have to do is take a shoot, if you succeed it's a win-win for both of us" Adam smiled back at her with hate.

"And if I fail?" Eva mocked him.

"From zero to hundred the chances of failure is slim, it will be a success with one hundred and ten percent guarantee" Adam said with confidence he don't know from where he was gaining.

"You seem over confident over that Mister Miller" Eva was occupied again with his reckless talks.

"Had worked awfully hard on that" Adam smirked.

Eva rolled her eyes at him when she wanted to laugh over his stupid smirk, he was smart chap, and he had a point, what was there to lose she just need a way to break this deal or change his mind? But isn't that the reason he is breaking all grounds to meet?

She slowly took her seat back thinking hard about his proposal.

"You are serious about your deal? Your word? Eva falter.

"You have my word" Adam reassured her.

"This date thing you spoke about? That too? Eva asked skeptical.

"It's more like ground work, your guidance, strictly professional" Adam spoke for both of them.

"Oh, thank you genius, I thought you were truly asking me to fall in love with you with your brilliant Thirty Dates" Eva teased scornfully.

"Now I never said it will be brilliant, but I do have a image of perfection" Adam announced proudly.

"Narcissist" Eva openly declared.

"Compliment, I see we have a great future ahead, you seem half-witted to full in one quick step" Adam  supplied.

"Not that great future ahead if you keep talking that way, I see you suffer with 'Mister know all' syndrome, also it wouldn't be wrong going for a bigot in clear view" Eva flashed a pearly smile.

"What gave it away?" Adam gasped totally taking it as a compliment.

Eva leaned on the table a bit to see his god forsaken attractive face clearly she chewed her lip "It's in the air, all around you"

Adam chuckled "Air you are breathing?"

"Quite frankly, it is suffocating me" Eva exhaled and moved back.

Adam felt like he could keep doing this all day, it was like she mentioned a breath of fresh air. But, he had a office to run and files to return, anyway he had a feeling he was going to see Eva Martin around approximately for Thirty Dates to be exact.

"Miss Martin, this has been fun and I hope productive on both ways, what is your final answer?" Adam kept his coffee mug down standing.

Eva maintained his eye level and really wanted to know the answer for his bizarre deal, what should she do? should she take a leap of faith? say yes? I mean what's is there to lose? they aren't any loss but only profit to gain. 'Yes' a tiny voice whispered in her ears.

"Yes" Eva said out loud strongly, louder than she expected.

A brilliant smile break out on Adam face, He didn't felt in weeks like he felt in this moment, Triumph. A bloody good one, indeed. He slowly extended his hand to seal over their deal and Eva shook his warm hand with mixed emotions.

Adam saw a shadow of disbelief passing over her beautiful face, her expressions easy to read, opposite to him, he had an guarded face nothing to slip, But he felt the same. They both were on same page, excited of a possiblity to achieve something impossible or doom of failure with bad twisted thorn pricking tangled fate.
