Haily's POV
Ever since I was claimed by one of the big three {meaning Zeus Poseidon & Hades}, I've been getting a lot of....admirers. I'm honestly not one looking for boyfriends like most girls but there have been a lot of boys who've had a crush on me, and some who I would set to be my friend.
Then there's this boy; Leo Valdez. I met him the first few days I came, then being the Daughter of Poseidon it was like a light flickered inside of him. He actually started to get closer to me on a personal level; but not as a boy who would want a girlfriend, but as a best friend.
I was sitting in my room on my bed checking out the latest sightings of Spider-Man on YouTube. Oh Peter. Then a knock came from my door.
"It's Open!" I shout, still focused on my video on my laptop.
"Hello Princess!" The curly haired Latino boy shouted bursting through my door.
"Hello Leo, and I'm not a princess" I confirmed as I turn off my laptop setting it off to the side. "Oh course you are, you're a daughter of the big three who are Princes and are now Kings! Um I mean hello! King of Olympus Zeus, King of the Seas Poseidon and King of the Underworld Hades!" Leo exclaimed almost out of breathe.
My eyes widen since he did have a point, "Touché Valdez". Leo laughs and sits on my bed, "So how you feeling with the whole changing your life and stuff?" Leo's eyes softened as he clearly showed he was worried or concerned. I thought for a second "I'm fine, it's just weird ya know... I mean all my friends don't even know where I am, and I'm still new to everything plus...not a lot of people like me. I mean have you seen what Annabeth tried to do to me the other day while we were training?!".
"She tried to physically hurt you?", "She tried to physically hurt me!!" I exclaimed; "yeah I know, speaking of training Chiron the centaur wants you to train to find out what powers you've got, just to see" Leo stated trying to sound as natural as possible.
"Okay? But if I need a trainer do you wanna be my trainer to find out my powers?" I ask fidgeting with my hands. Leo walks up to me, his face centimeters from mine "of course Princess" he then tackles me throwing me onto my bed. "LEO!!"; "Catch me if you can!!" He playfully yells back.
He may be fast but he's not as fast as me.
