5. I Hate You.

A full week had passed and not a single encounter with Loso. I was all kinds of curious as to where he was and what he was doing.
"Something on your mind?" XTC asked as she was doing her exotic make up. She was one of the favorites amongst the crowd because she used to compete in actual pole dancing competitions.
"Just wondering where a friend of mine could be. I hadn't seen or heard from him in a little over a week." When Sienna was out performing, XTC was my other good friend that I could talk to. All the other girls saw themselves as better than the rest and stuck their noses up. Pathetic.
"Your friend Loso?" She asked with a snide smirk before returning to applying her mascara. I just use fake eyelashes that make me look like a doll. They're long but a little longer in the outer corners.
"Yes him. I used to see him everywhere and now it's like the name Loso never even made it to this city." I sat in the spin chair and spun myself in slow half circles. My curls brushing across my shoulders and back as I spun.
"Awe you miss him." She teased. "If he's as fine as I imagine him, based on what you told me, then shoot... I'd miss him too. You never told me how studying went." XTC loved gossip and talk like this. She wanted to know everything and anything about whatever topic.
"I don't miss him, I'm just curious as to why he all of the sudden dropped off the face of the Earth. Studying was fine. I didn't strip and he didn't get any kisses." Thank God I know my shit.
"I would have kissed him anyways. Different colored eyes? That alone has me drooling." She laughed as she was cleaning up her make up.
"Well when I went to brunch with my Dad, Loso was there and he told my Dad he was my friend with benefits." She looked at me with wide eyes.
"Shut up you hoe, no he didn't." I wish he didn't but his bold self did.
"He did. He did it to make me look bad in front of my Dad and it worked. He's a sly slick shit if I've ever seen one." I hate that he makes me look bad in the simplest of situations. "And then at dinner, he did what I told you and told me I was sweet right?" She nodded. "I told him I didn't want to know what I taste like and he said he was talking about my personality."
"Your mind was in the gutters! Oooh but he really is slick." She said between her laughs. "It's funny how he makes you look bad even though you're one of the most goodie goodie girls I've ever met."
"I'm glad you know I'm not bad like my Dad thinks." I saw a few dancers come walking in so it must be the small break before the next group goes out. Sienna came walking in with a huge smile on her face. "Why so happy?" I asked.
"There's a really handsome guy out there. He's throwing hundreds, not ones." Hundreds? Wow...
"Is he new?" XTC asked as she walked up to Sienna and I.
"Nope. He usually sits in the back, just watching with his friends but tonight he's up front. I don't know how long he's staying but he's there now. I want to talk longer, but I need to get my son from my Mother's. I'll see you two tomorrow." She gave us each a hug after putting away her earnings and walking out of the locker room.
"This'll be good. It's only Cherry-Ice, You, and Me working the rest, so more money for us." XTC said with a money greed smile. "I get a feeling I'm about to earn 2 months worth of rent and a new pair of J's tonight."
After our break was over, it was time for my group to go out on stage. I walked around my pole and instantly saw the handsome man that Sienna was talking about. He caught my gaze and winked at me before pulling out a bundle of money, which I'm assuming were hundreds.
