"Now remember Miticus. Use the Soul Release right when we enter. Or else we won't be at full strength." Hissed Aria. "You Dont think I already know this. These small insects are weak. This shouldn't take more than 5 minutes don't you think?" questioned Miticus. "Well, the boy has that demon Conviction. I heard when released Hes one of the strongest demons. We don't know what these two are capable of. and Theyre nephlins. They have both sides of Angel and Demon. So be on your guard." Miticus just shrugged and continued into what seemed like a long walk into the Cave of Time..
Jay and Cynthia had ended their battle and Cynthia took the victory easily although she overused her energy. But she also sensed something. The feeling was overwhelming, and Cynthia felt pressure coming on her body by the massive energies by the entrance, slowly making their way to them. She collapsed on spot and coughed up blood. Jay rushed to Cynthia's side to see what was wrong. The words Cynthia mumbled were "Too strong... Get... out the drawer..." Cynthia fainted and blacked out and was unconscious. The two assassin's had used their Soul Release, the other ability that shows their presence and makes their power known and allows them to fight at full power. Cynthia had felt the presence of the two and knew it was too much and went unconscious..
Jay ran to Cynthia's room and looked in her drawer to find nothing. There had only been clothes but nothing else that had seemed important. Jason reached in the back of the drawer and touched something and immediately some power was drained from him. He was confused and reached back again for whatever had just done that to him. He pulled out two small candy sized pieces. They pretty much looked like candy, except that one was blue and one of was red, and they were both glowing. Jay ran back to Cynthia and didn't know what to do with these strange things. Then he remembered something crucial Cynthia had told him before whenever they were training......
//flashback//
"Jay. If anything happens to me, go to my drawer and pull out the Soul Rocks. These things don't taste great, but they replenish your energy. But in order for these rocks to work, you have to get the opposite souls energy. For me, I have to get a demons energy in order to replenish me. For you, you have to get an angels energy. All you have to do is eat one and you're good as new. But be warned. These are the only two I have. So use them only for an emergency.....
//present//
Jay took the rocks and placed the red one in her mouth, the one made of his energy. She immediately gained power and snapped out of the unconsciousness within seconds. Jay ate the other one and he began powering up too. "Cynthia.." Jay started but Cynthia stopped him. "Jason. They have two beings coming right down that hall. A demon and angel. These are two of the most known assassins in the Demon and Angel Realms. I'm taking the angel, and you got the demon. Beware for this is no ordinary demon; its Aria the Berserker, a demon who escaped The Pit but no one dares to chase him. The angel I'm going to face however....." Cynthia took a pause. Because not only was this angel powerful. But he had the Angel of Truth in him, one of the strongest angels in the Realms. He was the only human ever transformed into a supernatural. And at the point of Death, he gives you his curse. The person who's defeated him will receive the curse, but it's never been recorded before because he's only been defeated once and the one to have the curse never returned. Cynthia somehow feared this, most of all.
"What is it Cynthia?" Jason asked. She stared for a moment. And put on a fake smile. "We are gonna beat these guys, no matter who they are." Cynthias fake enthusiasm got the best of Jay. He smirked as they both started to power up.
Their foes were now in sight.
