Part 5: An Angels Touch

Jay wakes up the next morning rejuvenated and hyper, ready to train some more. "Cynthia. Let's continue training." Cynthia was hovering in midair meditating and focusing her mind and then stood on her feet. "Okay. Begin then."

Jason sat on the ground in meditating position. He then focused himself and went within his mind and soul to face Conviction once again. "Convition," Jay confronted him once again. "What do you want mere mortal?" the demon hissed at him. "You already know what I'm here for. Why can't you just give me your power?" "You are nothing more than a pathetic imbecile. You aren't the worth to be able to control me." "But you have to help me; I have to rescue my parents." "Forget about it insolent child. You aren't worth my time." The demon forced Jay to break his focus causing the connection to be gone.

"Agh it's no use. He won't ever listen." Jay broke sweats as he tried to connect with Conviction again but he failed in doing so. "Jason. I have an idea. It may work. I've been training to do this. I wanna see if it has any affect on demons." "What are you going to do Cynthia?"

"I'm going to tap in your mind myself and speak to him." "There's no way," Jay said with doubt. Cynthia placed her hand on Jays forehead and he was instantly calmed. Cynthia closed her eyes and focused in and looked within his mind. Found him.

Cynthia had a more clear picture of Conviction. To Jay, he was nothing more than a vague cloud of red. Cynthia actually saw the demons figure. Massive and strong, this demon was one to face. "Hello Conviction." "You must be the brats sister. How'd you get here?" "I have my ways. Now. On more important matters. I need you to cooperate with my brother." "Why should I huh? Hes no benefit to me." Cynthia laughed at him. "Oh really?" The demon looked confused at Cynthia. "What are you getting at?" Cynthia just laughed some more. Then took a serious tone. "You don't know what happens to demons if the one holding them dies, Dont you?" The demon looked shocked for he wasn't aware what could happen. "Say, what would happen?" Cynthia smirked. "They get sent to Oblivion and vanish." "I didn't know Oblivion actually existed. I thought it was a myth." "Oh no it's very much real. So. I could send Jay to the Demon Realm right now and let him die along with you vanishing. Now we wouldn't want that would we?" Grrrr. The demon growled. "I'll help the boy. On one condition. He works with me. And doesn't order me around. Or else I'll consume him and use his body for my own purposes."

"Deal."

After that, Jay finally came back to. "Did it work? Is he gonna help?" The moment Jay said those words. He felt a strong power come over him and immediately began radiating energy. "Listen to me Jason. I'm giving you my power to use. Don't boss me around and we will be fine." "Understood." Then. Jay held up his hand. And the sword he first saw in the beginning was forming in his hand made of energy. And became solid. "This is your weapon. It can be used two different ways. The way you see now. Is the Demon Knight sword mode. it's one bulky sword and deals huge damage to enemies. But be aware you won't move as fast. Then. Once you train and gain mastery over my power. I'll go into Demon Katana mode. Where the attacks aren't as strong but I'm able to move you at way faster speeds. and eventually you'll gain two swords once you can control me even more." Wow. Amazing Jay thought. Okay. Let's do this. Together. "Cynthia?" "Jay. You have mastered it. I'm sorry I'm just so tired from tapping in your mind. I need rest."

"Okay well go get it. Night." Jay was amused by his powers and tested them out until he fell asleep.
