As I sat upon the hill I had been spacing out - thinking back to when I became what I am today. While sitting there, I heard the footsteps of someone coming up from behind me. I immediately jumped up, ready to fight in case it was the enemy launching an attack on me.

"No need to get so defensive, Kagami," Instead Of hearing the screech of a demon, I heard the familiar voice of Huntress Akari - one of the fire huntresses of Angel's Spirit Seraphina. I lowered my arm with the ring on it as I saw Akari approach me and I let a small smile grace my face when I saw hers. She came down a slight hill, her fire whips at her side as she subconsciously reached for them. I knew not to feel threatened at that, as I would've done it too. It's a natural instinct for us to reach for weapons since we have to use them so much, especially lately.

"How are you doing Akari?" I asked her when she sat down beside me, I noticed her now bright red hair, blew in the wind like flames. I chuckled internally at my comparison of her hair as we sat. Akari just sighed as she stared out at the city below us. We both knew that we were hear to hunt a demon that has been plaguing this area with diseases.

"Any luck?" I stiff, emotionless voice said from behind us. Akari and I turned our heads around to see a young girl with bright white hair with pale blue eyes. We both sighed in relief as we realized who it was.

"Not yet, Takara," Akari answered her. Takara was one of the ice huntresses of the Angel's Spirit named Icelyn. Takara kept her face straight and then closed her eyes before letting out a sigh.

"Where is that thing?!" Akari suddenly yelled out in anger as she made a small fire burn in a ring around her body. I immediately jumped up and moved away from her so that I didn't get burned by the flames. Takara shot Akari a glare and that caused her to blush in embarrassment and she sniffed out the fire ring.

"Sorry," She mumbled out apologetically and rubbed the back of her head with her right hand. Takara let out another sigh before turning to walk always when all of a sudden a loud scream echoed throughout the once silent night.

Quickly, Akari jumped up and her hands once again reached for her fire whips that were at her sides. All three of us glanced at each other before jumping off the cliff and had landed on our feet safely. We took off sprinting towards where our rings light led us. As we reached the corner that led into an alleyway that, according to our rings, where the scream came from.

As we peaked around the corner we noticed a large, bat winged person with gray skin and long claws. The creature turned around and we saw it's bright red cats eyes and we instantly knew. This was exactly the creature we were looking for
