Chapter 12

Lizzy's POV:

I got to know Nash's friends really well the past week they have been here and they are both really funny. When I went home the first night I met them, I watched some of there vines, and they are all pretty funny too. They don't live here though, so they are just visiting. They are leaving in a week I think. Cam is like an older brother to me, and Matt, is sort of like my next best friend after Becca and Nash. It's pretty cool. We all have a lot in common, it's actually kind of weird how much we have in common... All of us, Nash, Matt, Cam, and me.

It's finally the weekend though, and winter break is next week. Sooo, Yay!!! So no more school until after New Years. 😋

Right now I am at Nash's house playing with Skylynn while Nash is ordering pizza or something. I honestly have no clue what he is doing, but I'm pretty sure he mentioned pizza or something like that.

Skylynn walked up to me and put a basket in my hand. Ok.... "What's this?? Are we going on a picnic??"

Skylynn threw a big blanket I the basket, "Yup."

"Ok," she then took my pointer finger, middle finger, and ring finger in her little hand and led me out the door and onto the back deck of there house. I wonder where Nash is?? My question was answer when Skylynn walked back inside, then reappeared out the door, dragging Nash with her who was still on the phone. I let out a little laugh when Nash almost fell on his face after tripping on the door frame. It's pretty warm out for winter. But still cold at the same time.

Nash says something else into the phone and then hangs up. "Well my parents should be home around 8, so we have Skylynn until then, you dot have to stay though if you don't want to. I have to stay though, I mean, if you want to stay you can..." there he goes rambling again. Why does he always do that. I look down at Skylynn who is now holding my hand for some reason and she just rolls her eyes at Nash. Hahha.

"It's fine, I wanna stay." I say, interrupting his endless rambling.

"Ok, right, soooo... now we just gotta figure out dinner," He says, "I'm kinda in the mood for pizza, how bout you guys??" He continues, picking up the phone back up from where he had set it down on the table outside.

"That sounds good, but do you know what is even better??" I say, taking the phone from him and setting it back down. He gives me a confused look, "HOMEMADE pizza." I say, picking up Skylynn and running into the kitchen.

"Ok, fine. But I don't know if we have all the ingredients." Nash says as he follows me into the kitchen.

"Then let's go get em!!" I say, pointing to the door. Suddenly I am really energetic.

"Kk," Nash says in a weird, girly voice, grabbing his keys and skipping to the door. I laugh and set Skylynn down so she can go get her shoes on. I slip my white converse on and wait by the door with Nash for Skylynn.

**AFTER THE STORE**

We decided to get the chef boy-r-de pizza mix that's in the small red box and just make regular cheese pizza cause that's what Skylynn said that she wanted. When we got back to the house, Nash started to get all the ingredients out that it said we needed on the box. I got a little messy. When I say messy, mean, we starts having a flour fight. We threw flour at each other and pretty much all over the kitchen. Now the pizza is in the oven and I am sitting with Sky on the couch and Nash is sitting in the chair next to us. We are watching some show that Sky picked that I dot know the name of. I notice Nash keep looking at me though. Or maybe he is looking at Sky. I don't know, he just keeps looking in this direction. I notice Skylynn keeps looking at me, then Nash, then back at me, then Nash again. She leans up to my ear and I lean down so it's easier for her. "I think he likes you."

I look down at her and she is point over at Nash who was looking over here, but turns towards the tv as soon as he sees Skylynn pointing. "Oh, ya think so??" she nods her head, then focuses her attention back to the tv. I wonder if it's true... does Nash really like me?? Like, like like?? For some reason the idea make me really happy inside.
